$100m buying the materialistic, self-serving, educated middle class leftist elite who are feminism in Oz was a cheap move by Turnbull.
John Howard spent $2billion on his 'gun control' prior to an election, but that was necessary to ward off the prospect of a Royal Commission into Port Arthur. A RC would have proved very uncomfortable for both of the major parties. The major parties had for differing ideological 'imperatives' sold off mental health and rehab facilities and forced mental patients back into the care of their families. Bryant was well know to authorities and police. Nowhere to put him though. Also, there was the difficulty that the firearm used by Bryant had been surrendered to police in a previous gun amnesty. Still, with an election soon to come Turnbull may cynically use the politics of gun control too, to occupy the talking heads on the ABC and elsewhere. Then there is the eye candy of 'The Republic' to keep the superficial 'progressive' motormouths busy. I wonder how long it will take for Labor members to realise that the ground is being swept away from beneath their feet and an election is imminent? Where oh where is the Unions' Boy, L'il Willie Shorten? It will be slowly sinking in to Labor politicians that their use-by date is fast approaching. Beach, great website, (link above) hope you have antivirus software. Its a Beach special Warning, Warning, Warning.
That stuff from the 'Daily Telecrap' a well known tabloid that prints garbage. It not a serious new publication at all. you asked <<Did any even bother to read it before whacking away? Likely not!>> You answered your own question. You used 3 long winded posts to put it up, are you a subscriber? Too right, I don't buy the 'Daily Telecrap' as its not worth wasting time reading it, unless you want a laugh. Posted by Paul1405, Monday, 1 February 2016 8:15:10 PM

What garbage. You have sunk to a new low. That is the sort of antics the NSW 'Watermelon' Greens have earned a reputation for. Greens leader Richard Di Natale has all of his hard work before him, obviously. Posted by onthebeach, Monday, 1 February 2016 8:52:19 PM

Thanks paul1405. This bloke is a real shocker.
He post a link to a site chock full of bloody viruses then when you warn the rest of us he says; “What garbage. You have sunk to a new low.” I have always done due diligence when I post links here by putting them through a site checker. The one I use is sitecheck.sucuri.net otb's filthy link is flagged as both compromised and blacklisted. The normal reason for blacklisting is that it has either malware or virus infection. http://sitecheck.sucuri.net/results/tinyurl.com/dishonesty-in-dv-industry I'm hoping the reason he has posted it is pure idiocy rather than malicious, although maliciousness towards those he calls feminists has been on regular display. What possible relevance does that have where it is eight men who have been sacked?
Robert lePage, "In a country that has two murders a week by husbands or partners"
When you must start with a shonky number and shabby fabrication that has been corrected so many times, no-one would bother to read any further. Miranda Devine and others have thoroughly dispelled that shonky number and the rest of the shonky, self-serving faux 'research' and 'statistics' that is never, ever subjected to proper peer review.
