Well what do you know. That idiot Turnbull had a silly smug grin on his face, as he declared that he, & the United Nations, were born on the same day. The smug fool thinks that makes him special, for god's sake.

If only the Back to the Future movie were fact, we could perhaps get Michael J Fox & his mates to go back & eliminate that day.

If only! What a better place this world would be.

Kindergarten tantrums, what is the discussion of this thread. Turnbull.

Turnbull is well placed to make a down trodden country into a greater place than ever. We have Turnbull and Shorten to back him up we could never be more well governed.

Some are not happy, but Abbott was never going to be the worlds greatest PM, and he proved that himself. Both Abbott and his mentor from Canada have demised, why because they were not worthy of the job at hand. They were both Climate change deniers, amongst other things.

The time is right for the world to take the initiative of putting Climate change into law.

Discussion has been going around in circles for 20 years and getting nowhere, we need action.

What IS this thread about?
A whine about Turnbull?

No, a childish sob about the fact that Turnbull is far better placed as Australia's PM than ever Tony Abbott looked like being.
Get over it and move on Hasbeen.
Why not go for the Greens next election?

HASBEEN...Further to your appraisal of our illustrious Prime Minister. I really have nothing further to add, except to say I wouldn't trust Malcolm TURNBULL with todays date ? He reminds me of a Trojan Horse Liberal, outwardly a conservative leader, in reality a committed and dedicated member of the Australian Labour Party.

I personally wouldn't have a problem with that, provided he was overtly Labour ? Except that he's used deceit and treachery towards those of the LNP who've trusted him, to satisfy his own personal aspirations and predilections for power !

Hasbeen, are you saying you don't approve of Turnbull, too much of a liberal, Liberal for you? Just call him an eastern suburbs (Sydney) trendy, a member of the latte set no doubt, probably takes it with soy milk, organic of course.
I can just picture Malcolm on a Sunday morning sitting on the promenade wearing a casual Hawaiian shirt, picked that one up from the extravagantly expensive gift shop in the lobby of the five star Sheraton on Waikiki, even if it was made in Bangladesh, whilst attending a conference discussing the appalling labour conditions in third world clothing factories. Dining alfresco at his favorite Bondi Beach cafe, watching the world go by, enjoying a breakfast of over priced 'Eggs Benedict' whilst discussing third world food shortages, and last nights opening of the Monet exhibition at the Avant Garde Gallery in leafy Woollahra, with like minded friends of course.

p/s The first meeting of the UN took place January 10th 1946, Turnbull was born October 24th 1954. The only significant even to take place on Malcolm's birthday was "Dwight D. Eisenhower pleded United States support to South Vietnam" boy was that a sick joke!

Bad news for the conservatives, "New South Wales Liberal Party acting president Trent Zimmerman has been chosen to contest Joe Hockey's former seat of North Sydney in a by-election in December."
Zimmerman is a well known Turnbull supporter.
"The process to appoint the new federal Liberal candidate has been described from those within the party (the hard right) as a "stitch-up" and undemocratic."

Zimmerman defeated the hard right's candidate John Hart 47/37. North Sydney with about a 16% margin is one of the plum Liberal seats. I am sure Turnbull would have had more than a passing interest in the pre-selection outcome, seeing Zimmerman (unlike Hockey) as a future cabinet ally. Next to go will be Bronwyn Bishop and Tony Abbott. All part of the Turnbull agenda
