Add into the mix the fact that the USA has almost pushed the nuke button on many occasions. With computers in control how do they stop an exchange? Missiles can travel 23 times the speed of sound and a nuke exchange will be all over in a few hours.

The other factor is the psychopathic nature of many of those who are in charge in the USA.eg John McCain who is promoting war with Russia.

When profits are down, companies follow the money they can make from overseas conflicts and the soldiers follow the flag. Wars are ALWAYS sold as being about good and evil and flag-waving - never about the bottom line of some invisible corporations pulling the strings from the sidelines.

It's typically dressed up behind the phony mask of some religious conflict (for the sake of the gullible) that can never be resolved but the true motive has always been cash or resources.

The second Bolshevik revolution was partly funded by Wall Street, as was Hitler's rise to power. Nor morale outrage there - only dollars.

The Vietnam conflict that overthrew the French was won with surplus WW2 weapons donated to the the Communists by the USA in return for access to off-shore oil fields.

Armament manufacturers make money during the conflict and other corporations make money by contracting for the rebuilding.

Vast sums of money are transferred upward and the costs are borne by the rest.

It's always been that way.
