Leviticus 20:9 is what is called, descriptive, not prescriptive. There is no record that this ever occurred.

The injunction of 1 Timothy 2: 11-12 has been accepted by many Christian churches in the past. The Roman Catholic church still bends the knee to this injunction and similar others by refusing female priests.

As I have stated frequently, it would be helpful if Muslims personally addressed issues and concerns raised, perhaps as those in the screed above, especially as it is anti-mulsim. It helps none when Muslims don't address particulars. Considering there are Muslim contributors on forum.onlineopinion.com.au it would surely help if they clarified such matters.

The need to believe is a very powerful thing...

People are wont to believe that there is a good father/mother figure up there somewhere looking over us. And despite all the calamities that befall mortals --and seem to afflict both the faithful and the faithless in equal measure-- hold firm.
