Had a good afternoon, went hunting foxes and shot three, one dog and two lactating vixens; which means that a number of kits may also die without their mothers.

I probably saved more native animals today than all the Greens put together.

- That introduced ferals such as foxes are now part of the local fauna and must be protected a such.

- That foxes only eat dead lambs, or weak ones that would die anyhow.

They make it obvious they have never witnessed the foxes dragging lambs out of their mothers during birth. Life is very different behind a keyboard in the city, depending on someone else to produce food for you.

Without 'Wonderful Centrelink' and bubble-wrapped food the Greens Watermelons would die in a very short time. An even shorter time if they had their way and there are no dams for their water.

Nor have they had to kill ewes that have been so savaged by foxes during or after birth that there has been no hope of saving them.
They would not have seen a hen house with all the chooks dead from a single fox's killing frenzy.
