You may remember Kevin Rudds comment when he came back into power, where he clearly said, when defending Penny Wong as finance minister, every party needs a Dr No.

Someone to say, "great idea minister, but we simply can't afford it".

Given their deficit has gone from some 8 billion, to 33 billion, in about ten weeks, I would suggest that Dr No, Penny Wong either said, great idea, but we can't afford it, and was ignored, or, she approved of the blow out, or, she was asleep at the wheel.

Now if she was ignored, then that would suggest the old heavy handed Kevin is back.

Or, if she approved of the waste, ome would have ask why, or, if she was asleep at the wheel, it would suggest that she is a very poor Dr No.

Which one was it!

Both are true.

Penny Wong is the Parliament's 'Penguin'. Looks the part and waddles about in the dark pin-striped suit, but she simply cannot fly.

She could talk under water with her mouth full of marbles. But none of it means anything. Throws more profiles than Jana Wendt ever did.

Wong is a lightweight. Just another ex-student rep the union heavies reckon can dance to their tune.

She recently ditched Julia Whatshername to go with Rudd. So much for her courage and commitment. Penny and numbers don't appear to get along.

Yes OTB Wong has no substance, but you can't blame her for being a self serving politician, it comes with the territory.
Wongs only attribute for a political life is the ability to look stoney faced and credible as she mouths others words, others lies become her lies….as example:

Wong was addressing the first national forum on coasts and climate change in Adelaide and promulgating that global temperatures are fast rising and sea levels, as a consequence, will rise by a meter this century.

This just after Professor Phil Jones, one of the world’s key alarmist climate scientists, admitted to the BBC that there has been no statistically significant rise in global temps for 15 years.
Wong is a politically correct token joke.

No wonder Rudd wants same sex marriage. That way he gets to keep the Lesbian Ladyboy on side. I thought he was supposed to be a Christian. My reading of the Bible is that such sins of the flesh were and are an abomination. How does he sleep at night.

I would suggest it's yet another labor case of, what ever it takes to win office.

It will be like introducing a dog, into a cat fight, if Rudd ends up winning and teams up with Bob Katter, as he openly despises the thought of gay marriage.

In fact, he won't even entertain any questions about the topic, saying quite clearly, it's not on his radar. Here here I say!

chrisgaff1000, "I thought he was supposed to be a Christian"

Rudd is one of those people who make their church going obvious. He was reported as going to church before the leaders' debate. Previously as PM he was forever conducting media interviews and taking photo opportunities outside churches, in Canberra in particular. See here,

http://media.canberratimes.com.au/news/national-news/rudd-plays-down-leadership-4006787.html

Actually that is a good example too of Kevin Rudd talking about the economy.

Surprisingly (or maybe not) the Christian-hating lefties are always silent on Rudd promoting himself as a regular church goer, or that he says he gains solace from it.
