William Binney, Thomas Drake and Kirk Wiebe are all senior ex-NSA whistle blowers who tried for years to do it legally. The politicians and the legal system did not want to know about it.

Edward Snowden has now been charged and Iceland has offered him political asylum. Not a peep out of our officials or political leaders here.

The apathy in the West to the loss of our rights and privacy is astounding. George Carlin once made reference to "The American Dream".
He said," You have to be asleep to believe it." We pretty much are comatose at the moment.

Thought I put a thread up about this.
Must have forgotten to hit post.
America executed a husband and wife team for spying, questions about their guilt still come up from time to time.
They imprisoned for spying a young man who shortly after our 1975 dismissal told of CIA interference in our politics.
Not half as bad as the mass murders in Chile in an America sponsored take over.
It is said American guns and people took part in the MURDER of 10,000
Many in a sports stadium.
Bradly Manning could not have reported criminal acts had Americans not commuted them.
And this latest? Surely no crime in telling the truth?
And in any case who did not know in all probability every country has such spys?

Good to see Belly you are becoming aware. Vladmir Putin has called the bluff on our Western Imperialists. We don't need WW3.Unless the voice of reason rises to the fore, these lunatics are willing to go all the way.

Whats new ?
After the war the British government gave a lot of Enigma machines to
foreign governments, but didn't tell them they had cracked them during the war.

What do you think GCHQ & ASIO have been doing for years ?

Quite right Bazz it was my intention to both say that.
And question the crimes of those mentioned above.
Just why are we asking for them to be held to account but not those they name?
China no doubt has more spy,s than us maybe along with Russia and yes todays Germany more than Americans.
IF a terrorist act is not stopped by such spying we would see those wanting convictions wanting to know why the spy,s never picked it up.
