I am writing to let you know that after a long battle with leukeamia Steve Madden finally lost the fight earlier this week.

An inter cranial bleed to to low platelets finally beat his inspirational crusade, he helped thousands of people worldwide to cope with his disease. Raising hundreds of thousands of dollars for research.

Thank you Online Opinion for giving him an outlet to keep his brain active. To his friends and foes thank you for letting him express an opinion.

He will be missed by many, a remarkable man.

Very sad I regarded him as a friend but never knew him rip Steve.

He was among the most articulate posters here, and passionate in his views... his contributions will be missed.
