Belly, you’re such a tragic.

wanderer-001 points to some real grass roots issues that you above all posters should be able to address and which deserve much better than your tired, over cooked, ideological, text book clap trap. When are you going to exercise even the minutest “original thought” rather than the piss ant diatribe you constantly serve up?

For goodness sake, try to put your brain into gear before you start typing. What do YOU stand for? Or are you just an ideological mouthpiece with absolutely no capacity for self declaration?

You are shamed by both your incapacity to offer rational self thought and by the utter inadequacy of your “canned” responses. Get a life for goodness sake and do some real justice to the isues raised by wanderer-001. Shame on you. Is this how losers reconcile their dysfunctionality?

Australian Politics has gone to the dogs,
wanderer-001,
sorry, but if you were trying to emulate a british understatement you'll need to try harder. Otherwise though I couldn't agree more.
I think just about all Govt Departments are failing us. Law & Order is a Joke, Permits & Licences are over the top, Accountability is at an alarming low.
What really scares the hell out of me is that so many have it so good that they simply can not see reality. Those in authority are the worst offenders.
Governments typically always consult academic experts rather than people who know.
Those who know are ridiculed to no end.
Bring on a conservative Government & change the heads of Departments at the same time.
It really is the only way out.

spindoc just said in more words than me that some on here read from a party script. For someone as inteligent as him I would have thought he would have cottoned onto it sooner. AstroTurfers are what they're called, spindoc :)

One of the main issues with politics is that the 'hanger ones' are also voters, so of cause, they will vote for anyone who keeps dishing out the handouts.

Now given that so many today rely on welfare of some sought, from any political parties point of view, look after them and you are well on your way to gaining power.

People must one day come to the realization, that we must all pull our own weight, and as another here said if you can't afford them, don't have them.

As tough as that may sound, it's realities like these that we as a nation must face up to, prob sooner, rather than latter I would suggest, as a repeat of the past four odd years would see us heading south big time, especially if the uncontrolled waste and hand outs ccntinue.
