Take the case of Nth Korea, its nuclear defence capability has it punching above it's weight, and to some degree, provides (if nothing else) autonomy from oligarchies, whether it be the U.S or China. Please don't interpret me as supporting Nth Korea here, I'm not one bit, but we are told of despots by the media and millions dying from famine, (that may well be true), but the real news story is "how does this compare with suffering caused by economic embargo's and blockades inflicted upon these starving people" ?. And finally without actually knowing, "how is one able to determine if such embargo's are the correct or justifiable policy" ?.

Conversely the Nth Korean media copying it's enemies, portrays millions of people wailing on TV for their despot, as their imagery. The ultimate personality discussion Arjay. An even bigger one coming with the new anointed leader, upon which to focus.

Nth Korea's media are doing so because they can, of course using state controlled facilities, but international media capable of broadcasting independently free of any media filtering or influence from either the U.S. or China. They have got their message out

Ironically Western media will intensify it's own focus upon Nth Korea because of the age alone of the new despot ?. Keep an eye on social media networks.
