'let the wheat grow with the tares
till at harvest"..they reveal..their weedyness..or wheat
their qualities..

my thoughts run along the lines of
we are all able to be trusted..

untill we each prove...we don*t deserve the trust...
THEN..these people loose the right to own a 'pet';..[how i hate that title]

like those killing cattle...who were cruel
should instantly have been removed from the kill floor
and retrained..put on probation...taught the more humane[less cruel way]

[there is no perfect way...
all killing is murder]

but thats like i said a law..*we ALL* break

ie seeds are teqniclly living...
and how many died to make your baggel
whats worse killing with a conscience..or mindlessly

there are questions religeons
MUST BE FORCED TO ANSWER

not the lasty question must be
what of the law...re having no other before god..[like his son]
or like creed..rite and ritual

As discussed on the phone, we strongly recommend that you contribute your views to the two inquiries currently being conducted by the Australian government: I have copied the inquire forms and we are more than happy to assist you with this. The fact is there is no reason to send these animals to suffer such cruelty. We can send meat to feed people. Not that these animals go to feed the impoverish people. Poor people eat rice and vegetables if they can get it. On a personal note I mentioned to you by phone every Australian Muslim Leader is lobbying the Government to ban live exports. They have been for ten years. I am involved with assisting them to lodge their subs also.
I am also aware that a group of Animal Lovers are with deep pockets discussing TV adds to highlight the Churches role in speaking out loudly for God’s creatures. I hope the Church is more active in speaking out in the future

If its anybodies moral obligation imop it is that of the Australian Churches. Also would you pls distribute asking people to write to the inquiry voicing their objections to sending animals off in ships while still alive- other etc members etc. Maybe a bulk email.

There is no need to address every question in the terms of reference but the more relevant information they receive the better.

With regard to the Federal Government’s review into religious slaughter arrangements which is yet to be completed, there is some information here http://www.daff.gov.au/animal-plant-health/welfare/aaws/specifying_the_risks_to_animal_welfare_associated_with_livestock_slaughter_without_induced_insensibility and here http://www.daff.gov.au/animal-plant-health/welfare/aaws/a_scientific_comment_on_the_welfare_of_sheep_slaughtered_without_stunning. You would have to contact the Animal Welfare Branch regarding the status of this review.
