In this thread we explore the machine of animal welfare in Australia.
We look at the policy's and agendas of these groups and search for answers to questions for a better arrangement to work with farmers and industry. Do they work with everybody interested to improve animal welfare. How can we achieve a better outcome working with the farming industry? .

IF*..."everyone'..was intrested in animal welfare
we wouldnt need to name it or organise others to do it
cause EVERYONE is allready doing it...[but not everyone will]

you give people litle to work with
thus limit the scope of your own topic

""We look at the policy's and agendas
of these groups""

no links?
who is 'we' tonto?

are we responding to policy
or creating it..or looking for money to police it?

""and 'we'..search for answers to questions
for a better arrangement to work with farmers and industry.""

so arnt invested in policing individual cruelties?
a better arrangement..than what?
what is the current arrangment?

somehow this is like the questions kids ask
when they just want to cut and paste their homework
we are doing for them

""Do they work with everybody interested to improve animal welfare.""

im not sure
do we?
do they
if every/body did..we wouldnt need to

""How can we achieve a better outcome
working with the farming industry?""

let them recieve money
thats how govt does it

or not recieve glory
for high performance..by low acts

make them feel
they too..are being watched
by watchdogs that arnt scared of lawyers..talking their 'cli-ants'..out of trouble..by sending the watchdog broke..with court costs

Under one God

I think a quick Google search & a bit of research of the organizations I have mentioned is enough to see their different policy's. May people are already aware but pls feel free to view on line

*you give people little to work with*

Ok, I am in agreement with you if everybody worked to improve animal welfare the world would be a better place.

I am wondering if we have not set a feeling of groups against farmers- for to improve animal welfare its vital we work with the farmers.
I am looking at program's that could be adopted to give farmers alternatives & support to find a better way of doing things.

*or not receive glory
for high performance..by low acts*

Sorry I am not sure what you refer to?

*make them feel
they too..are being watched
by watchdogs that arnt scared of lawyers..talking their 'cli-ants'..out of trouble..by sending the watchdog broke..with court costs* Same as above. What are you referring to pls?

In the mean time I would like to point out there is one person in Australia who has / is a good example of the way RSPCA should be run. That man is the CEO RSPCA QLD Mr Mark Towend. Attending meetings with farmers overseas investors QLD Government Muslim Leaders he 100% supports a closer relationship between farmer/ buyer/ animal welfare. I believe the key to success is to have plans in place to offer farmers alternatives before setting about to do anything else.

If we care enough about the animals i put it to others that its something we not only could do but must do.

Give a farmer a good price and secure supply chain and you are always going to get much further. We need to make friends with these people not enemies. Farmers do not have the contacts to set up new industries- others do but say it isn't their jobs

Perhaps we should consider going the extra mile for the sake of the animals and farmers to0.

That is my point UOG

RSPCA National imop do not share the same attitude at RSPCA QLD CEO.
They have for many years refused to work with the only Muslim Animal Welfare organization in Australia. RSPCA National have ignored a request by these people to send them whatever paper work required so they can sign off opposing ritual slaughter.

Given the press reports about their problems with Mr Ikebal Patel and the 15 abattoirs now operating in Australia using ritual slaughter methods you may have thought that would be something they would welcome with open arms- but no.

RSPCA National & Animals Australia, WSPA have also for years refused to meet with Muslim Leaders to discuss their programe to phase out live exports. Given their interest in this most people would have to wonder why?

Surely Heather if you want ritual slaughter stopped you would want the support of people in the position to support RSPCA.

RSPCA National did sent some inquiry information to be submiitted
to the inquiry into ritual slaughter at our request. After the poor old Dr printing out over 100 pages& filling out- We find there is no inquiry into ritual slaughter.

Upon sending that back to RSPCA National- silence

Are RSPCA National racist -? I dont know and i doubt thats the problem

But Heather Lyn & others if your dinky die about wanting to stop ritual slaughter & phase out live exports why would you refuse to assistance of people in the right places to assist AA & RSPCA National?

Or is there another agenda - because TBO plenty of people are now highly offended

Do we offend farmers & AU Muslim leaders to improve Animal Welfare AA & RSPCA National

Pls tell me how that helps the Animals.

kerryanne..quote.."*or not receive glory

so many people do 'things'..for a medal
or for a nightHOOD..or queens honours
ie not motivated to do bad things..just for money
and punishment...shouldnt be money..unless the cruelty was in persute of money

most who keep animals LOVE their animals
but by the same token their are those..WHO RECIEVE JOY..
get their kicks from suffereing...[hell is full of them]

thats the INTENDED cruelty we need to end
BUT the hatrdest to catch or 'fix'

then there is the cruelty from..ignorance
[those who only need be made of the dangers
to them...as well as their pets..;ie who just need education]

""*make them feel
they too..are being watched
by watchdogs that arnt scared of lawyers..
talking their 'cli-ants'..out of trouble..by sending the watchdog broke..with court costs*..

What are you referring to pls?""
if you got a good lawyer...he/she uses the law
to send the watchdog [rspca]..broke...
[forcing their last cent into a lawyers payday]

they KNOW how to get the watchdog off their back
[send them broke...make them broke in court fees]
the watchdog soon leaves you alone

[noting it wernt rspca that revealed the cattle cruelty]

""In the mean time I would like to point out

thats a huge call

a lot to expect off one man
did he research into cattle cruelty?

he sounds like he was in the right *place
but
was he doing the right things?
[he was with...'the right people']

""We need to make friends
with these people not enemies.""

no
WE NEED TO PROTECT ANIMALS FROM GRUELTY
from cradle to grave

""Perhaps we should consider
going the extra mile..*for the sake of the animals""

yes i agree

""and farmers to0.""

now you just went too far..!

in trying to do TOO much
you give little..less..to the true reason for being
ie speaking up for the rights of the beast..
to live a reasonable safe secure life..

to allow it*
to be the best..beast..a beast can be

by protecting it ..from sadists

ignorant fools..thinking god dont sustain them
[ie animals]..their 'life' too

god is known..knowable..by his signs
life is a sure sign...[of good...[god]]..

[that we do..to the least]
we do to god....

That is my point kerryanne

in one word
what is this about

*ANIMAL rights*
[if the animal litagant looses his court case
let the beast pay..

proci-cute..on behalf of the beast!
the beast owns the cost..get the benifit

people allready got too many expensive lawyers
protecting...lol..""the farmers rights'..

[their rights..come from
the rights..they gave back to the least,...[the beast]
