Men who become obsessed with their penis size,have far bigger psychogical hurdles jump that that missing attribute.I would suggest that the Indian factor of smaller penises is due to poor nutrition.Our culture over the decades is getter taller thus bigger penis size.There may be a genetic factor but nutrition in my mind is the over riding factor.

I've got a few questions. How does one measure the size of the penis? Length or girth? When it's flaccid or erect? And what are the international standards based on? And what racial groups do the standards apply to? There's a huge difference for example - between humans and donkeys? I've seen some big ones in Mexico.

Many companies that sell things like condoms also sell penis enhancement products - therefore they tend to exaggerate sizes so that they can push their other products. I can see where men would be concerned about the size of their penis - as a bigger penis would result in deeper penetration thus resulting in better orgasm. Except of course for the women who feel threatened by the larger size.

Another thought - do your realize that size increases with prolonged habitation in high altitude. Therefore astronauts living on space stations need specially designed trousers. Of course the Scots solved the problem by wearing kilts.

However, if you'll allow one gay man's perspective… it would be more accurate to say that gay men with below average penises are identified as "people who never believe it is necessary to discuss penis size" and gay men with above average penises are identified as "lucky, lucky bastards!"
