I just dropped in to see if there was any more "meat" on this rather over-chewed bone.

Sadly, none. No sources, no detail, just the same old waving of arms about, hoping to attract attention.

Who started this? Oh yes, sonofgloin.

So do tell, where exactly did this money go? I mean, where did it end up? Did it simply evaporate? Was it thrown onto large bonfires on Capital Hill?

Or was some of it directed towards the employment of individuals? And did they then rush out and buy luxuries such as food, or shoes for the kiddies? And did those people who were paid, pay income tax, by any chance.

Your diatribe is all about "waste". So please explain, what percentage of the schemes actually ended up as wastage, and what percentage simply helped keep the wheels of the economy turning?

Money has no value unless it moves. In the same way, money cannot be said to be wasted if it moves through the economy.

Correct but big problems arise when the money stops moving.

OK Pericles, you say this is going nowhere.

NBN
Q. Do you really think spending some 40+ billion, on the hope that most of us will use the 'land line' based Internet is wise?

Especially considering our youth, our future, are more and more turning to the mobile network for most everything.

Insulation-
Remember, labor were warned time and time again, even before anyone had died that their insulation scheme was a lemon and posed many risks including deaths.

Q. Are you suggesting that it is OK to continue a major 'stuff up' purely in the interests of creating jobs?

There's some 'meat' for you to chew!
