lexi wrote seems were over the worst of the economic cycle
thats so funny lexi clearly..us unemployment..is actually running at 23 percent [not every yank can get the dole] house prices fell two percent..this year alone[usa] we havnt begun this cycle yet usa councils are going bust...[no income from...home..'owners'..lol] so they go bust....allowing the bankrupcy auditers to renegotiate DOWNWARDS..the wages of the council workers who provide much of the welfare add in the outstanding debt...defaults comming and the fact there isnt enough real gold..to underpin the paper gold market[globally]...its hard to be optimistic the max keiser clip refuses to play past 15 minute mark so there is no doudt other stuff isnt allowed to air he just began asking this guy http://www.creditwritedowns.com/ questions so the answer..to more predictions shall lie..in this direction..in many ways i like the saying/trueism inflation is theft from the poor remember this as inflation..hits its peaks add in the extra taxes..fees charges... [dont forget the extra 60 dollar levie..going on your power bill next year..to pay for the federal...'renewable energy..SCEME'] and so much more the news ser-vice..refuses to tell us about and even you tube..refuses to play web/2..is working..just like it was planned to work Posted by one under god, Wednesday, 29 December 2010 6:14:04 PM

One Under God I do not wish to clash with you too.
In fact I think if you think it out, you will agree some posts must be reported. In my time here many have, some swore, some defamed, some are pure spam. Others trawled for fights. Mate without rules, without control no site can survive. I can swear, like a bullock driver in fact, once it is in print it offends me even more. Restraint, is a tool most of us use in putting words in to print, look at the post that upset me. Tell me the person who posted it had standards at the time of posting or concerns about others. Lexi good on you same to you and every one. My insults to parts of Labors actions are truly held NSW and QLD are lost SA seemingly too but the lessons will be learned improvements coming. Our not so secrete weapon? Tony Abbott, my biggest concern,Turnbull in control. Posted by Belly, Wednesday, 29 December 2010 6:52:09 PM

as the you tube vidio refuses to play the full clip
i found a way arround it.. http://www.creditwritedowns.com/2010/12/banking-self-regulation.html [without swearing]..[or responding to trolls about swearing] [im not buying into any of it] i spoke to Max Keiser recently..about a number of issues in a wide-ranging interview featured below. http://www.creditwritedowns.com/tag/video/ In the video, Max and Stacy Herbert talk about some of the hot button issues of the day like the banking sector in Ireland and the lack of criminal prosecutions in the US for the first 13 minutes or so. In the last half of the video I talk to Max about a lot of topics including gold, mortgage fraud, WikiLeaks, currency revulsion, and sovereign debt. Let me focus on one: fraud. It is astounding when you think that the US suffered the worst financial crisis in three-quarters of a century after an epidemic of fraud and it hasn’t yet seen any major prosecutions. And, yes, in 2004 the FBI warned of a mortgage fraud ‘epidemic’ and sought to head off the ‘next S&L crisis’. So let’s get that straight. http://www.creditwritedowns.com/2010/03/fbi-warns-of-mortgage-fraud-epidemic-seeks-to-head-off-next-sl-crisis.html The financial commission tasked with looking into this has devolved into a partisan shambles, with the Republicans pre-emptively releasing its own version of events scrubbed of any anti-banking connotations in terms like "Wall Street" and "shadow banking" or the words "interconnection" and "deregulation". http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/12/14/financial-crisis-panel-wall-street_n_796839.html What is likely to happen if the mortgage and foreclosure crisis becomes a systemic legal problem? My take: We will see efforts to fix the problem by changing the rules much as the end of mark-to-market fixed the credit writedowns problem in 2009. http://www.creditwritedowns.com/tag/credit/ That’s America’s idea of bank regulation. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/12/14/financial-crisis-panel-wall-street_n_796839.html so thats my prediction http://www.creditwritedowns.com/2009/07/how-not-to-use-fireworks.html http://www.creditwritedowns.com/2010/03/replacing-market-failure-with-regulatory-failure.html little wonder those running web2 tried to hush that up almost as bad as..nsw govt shuttring down shop till after the election cant have the electorate knowing the scam...man play the ball...not the man Posted by one under god, Wednesday, 29 December 2010 10:17:17 PM

Thanks for this thread and sorry to come in so late, but for what it's worth here are some of my thoughts:
As far as politics is concerned - the government is in for three years
and by the end of 2011, we should see some development of their election policies. I hope that the Iraq and Afghan wars will be over but with the American hawkish determination, I doubt it. Economically, we seemed to have survived the worst and let's hope that we'll continue to do so. As for boat people, we have to wait and see what Malaysia and Indonesia will say to our government's proposals. As for carbon pollution, recent scientific assessments claim is that it's already too late to save the planet - let's hope they're not serious and that it's merely a scare tactic to get a positive reaction to obstructionists and stubborn governments. All in all our future will probably continue as it is - at least in our lifetime. Let us hope that it won't be detrimental to our grandchildren.
