Funding isn't lacking, we have been putting more and more in the system.

We have been opening alternative divisions to do what current divisions are already striving to do. This just allows more people to be working on the same problems.

The point is this; our government spends and spends heaps, its wasting money all over the place not just in education.

It spends money to tell them what public opinions that don’t coin-inside with national opinions.

They open committees to talk, advertise unnecessary, spend on organisations indirect rather then direct.

It’s all about the money and its about using modern technology to save. They are stuck in old processors of going about things and needing to borrow money to fix when there’s money being wasted all over.

i still cant 'get'..why the public system
..pays anything to private...system

its just they know better..how to get at..public cash

OUG, from a fair objective point of view [mmm...in all probability not a 100% totally objective view], my daughter was educated in the public system, my son in the private system.

I was educated in the private system all the way through, however close friends with publicly educated students who I mixed with socially, cousins and others.

How I have always viewed taxpayer funds going to private schools is this. Within each school, there are the majority who will be either leaving school, attending TAFE for apprenticeships or working, others finishing Year 11 and 12, and either working or attending Uni.

Regardless of whether kids have been educated through the public system of private system, these kids, our future generations, will be contributing to our Nation in one way or another in their chosen professions, benefiting each and every one of us.

There are a total waste of previous taxes I have paid towards other Australians who were on triple the incomes I earned and enjoying the fruits of my labours regarding straight out luxuries, interests, and entertainment. Yet, I view it all as 'what goes around comes around' and what we give out to other people [students for one] will come back to each and every one of us, at some point in time.

I do not believe in one system being any better than the other.

It is the education of kids that I view as the primary consideration in order for these kids to lead safe, healthy and happy lives.

One other issue regarding this subject raised yet again.

When my son was attending primary school in the 'catholic system' I cannot count or regale the numerous occasions whereby 'significant' massive fundraisers were conducted for families and children 'publicly educated and raised' who had suffered a bereavement of a mother or father, that the 'catholic system' had heard about through either the media or another source.

On just one of these occasions a little girl had lost her mother and a sibling. Funds were raised by my son's school for the father and his other two children remaining. I organised the project, collected the funds, despatched the funds interstate, after the kids had written on the card.

A small gesture, yet one of heartfelt meaning and goodwill. I suggest many of you research Father Riley's site, Centacare, and some of the catholic school sites around the country, to discover the 'wealth' of school student programs benefiting the Nation as a whole [families, children and individuals] around the country, not privately educated or ever had anything to do with private education.

The facts are that many of the kids educated in private systems give give and give over the years to fellow Australians, regardless of their backgrounds.

How many programs, fundraisers and functions that benefit Australians [the non-religious] would you like me to list?

Lobby and take away the funding. It wont bother the private system. Parents pay for their childrens education and more to benefit the wider communities.

In another couple of years Australians will witness a noticeable reduction in programs, fundraisers and functions that Australians, totally unaware, or have taken for granted.

Why don't you compare the funding received by the state governments, in which the non government schools get only a tiny fraction of what the government schools get.

This looks like another facile beat up of non government schools using flawed information.

Shadow Minister,

What I compare is on a national bases and state basis dumb ass - I did look at the states breakdown for number crunching each state has a variance freak-nut but they all are setup the same way funding for non government against government higher.

Problem with people like you all you can find is the nice tidy reports of the government websites that don’t give s real focus breakdown picture.

I have looked at all reports government and education and international for these facts more than any Australian would do without organising an outsourced committee with our funds first.

My facts are real and 100% accurate I am not looking directly at year 12 or university results I am looking at all grades.

maybe you feel these facts are flawed information that just indicates you lot are flawed with being incapable of real research.

Reason why most of you work for us, meaning investors from overseas and new Australians with business leadership.

Maybe if you spend less time sucking ass with government and media and did your own research this country wouldn't be sold off as much. Get the facts not opinions on hear-say.

The public should be asking for an entitled to is reports of all finances outgoing broken down by division and category so you can really see what your money is being spend on..

I lot of report by the finance site are not keeping upto date and I found looking internationally supplied more up-to-date stats in some areas on top of local - this is called cross checking.

I also did not take into account figures made to look good in world comparison, and noticed figures where not submitted that may be embarrassing.
