Just remember who you are voting for if you vote liberal.
The return of the Howard government without Howard. Posted by mikk, Friday, 20 August 2010 11:23:27 AM

Dear rehctub,
You lost me with your use of the insulting "Krudd." When you try to demean others - it's not a good start by starting an opening post in this way if you want to be taken seriously. Posted by Foxy, Friday, 20 August 2010 12:40:22 PM

Just adding this as others might find it helpful...
https://www.belowtheline.org.au/nsw/ It's not a new political party or a synonym for below the belt, but a tool to work out your preferences for the 84 brave souls putting themselves out there for some electoral funding this weekend. Posted by Houellebecq, Friday, 20 August 2010 12:53:20 PM

Just remember who you are voting for if you vote Labor.
The return of the Rudd government, without Rudd. Hang on... In the end, I am so glad of election campaigns. You see, it's fitting to humiliate our politicians once every few years to a gruelling marathon running around in shopping malls, kissing babies, wearing hard hats and generally saying things they don't believe over and over again; basically, being humiliated. It's some small consolation, that to be the most powerful in the land, you have to grovel at the feet of the pikeys, and pretend you like them, or even that you are like them. To do cartwheels to get our attention and to plead and beg for our approval as Jooolia in particular is currently doing today, and go without sleep as Tony is doing. Rechtub it will not surprise you but I found that post insulting and uninformed.
It degrades you mate, Labor puppets? Can you not understand about half this country will be disappointed on Sunday morning? That the ALP is the under dog? Do you believe the half what ever one ,who doesn't win become second class Aussies? LABOR PUPPETS? bloke rather you understand ALP voters think no less or more before voting, how can you not see the rudeness of your words. I see, tell me I am wrong, deep devisions being planted from this election in our country's fabric. Thoughts like yours devaluing others rights to vote as they wish remind me more of country's that do not have free elections. You remind me why I must never ever let my vote support those who think as you do. ALP Tomorrow but if not? I will not preach hate. Posted by Belly, Friday, 20 August 2010 5:58:55 PM

fOXY>>You lost me with your use of the insulting
"Krudd." I am assuming you are refering to the word 'Krudd' Well please explain to me why on earth you have not made mention of the word 'Mr Rabbit', or, do I detect a little 'sour grapes' from a loyal supporter of the most wastefull governments in recent history. Win loose or draw, Tony Abbot and the coalition have made huge inrodes into the huge majority that labor enjoyed, thanks largely to the fact that labor have displayed gross incompitence in almost everything they did. Just remember, Tony Abott and the coalition can not possibly win this election, rather, they can only hope that labor looses it. Now don't you think that's a real shame, considering the money has gone and the debt is left for perhaps the coalition to repay. Did I say 'again'! I cant understand what you are all going on about.
The whole lot of them are lower than the lowest forms of life. Why should we even take part in the election anyhow and approve of the policies they create as statutes that only applies to the CITIZENS in the mobocracy that elect them, the electors. Why does Juila Gillard's name appear on the ballot paper as "GILLARD Julia" when that is not her full legal name, do you all approve of the fiction entity legally re-presenting you in the Board meetings for the Corporation registered as a legal PERSON of the United States. Registration number 0000805157 COMMONWEALTH OF AUSTRALIA and right up there with other registered US Corporations like the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. http://www.sec.gov/cgi-bin/browse-edgar?company=Commonwealth+of+Australia&match=contains&CIK=&filenum=&State=&Country=&SIC=&owner=exclude&Find=Find+Companies&action=getcompany This country has never had a sovereign government created under the Constitution as we have always been ruled by a governing Corporation just like all the States of this country. You will find all of them on the site above when you do the search. jj Posted by James J, Friday, 20 August 2010 11:39:06 PM

JJ, I wish we were governed by a corporation, at least then they directors of that coproration would be financially and criminally liable for the carniage they create and cause.
I will bet my bottom dollar there will be an inquest into each of the four deaths resulting from the governments insulation debarcle, however, the only persons facing possible prosecution will be the managers/directors of the companies, not the government ministers and advisors. At worst, they may get a smack on the wrist and loose thier jobs. Posted by rehctub, Saturday, 21 August 2010 5:50:49 AM

I can't see that either party - over the last 40 years, and particularly the last 20 years, have done anything right for the economy of Australia and particularly our workers, OH sure we have managed to see a gang of millionaires pop up, we have the CEO of ANZ, who I understand has a salary of $42,000,000, of CBA salary $25,000,000, Telstra $12,000,000 and quite a few more such as our mining magnates on $4,000,000 or so, and what happens when the open cut mines give out, all our manufacturing industries are gone - How many are left now? and all we are left with is great gaping holes in the ground, and not much else, the underground miners that I boarded with in the '40's, came back after work, black as the proverbial ace of spades, I don't doubt theythey died early from lung decease - OH I forgot, we will still have gangs of useless greedy members of political parties who will still want more increases in salary and more perks etc. Even with - at this time, there are 4 families a week in every city, being kicked out of their homes because they cannot pay the morgage and an esculating number of both petty and violent crimes both for money and pure violence because they see no hope for themselves and their families. So cop that.

By the way, just remember , or if you don't already know, to join a politicial party, you have to sign a pledge "I promise to agree to accept the decisions of the majority of the party". People who have pride in their integrity and are intelligent, will not sign that pledge, so what you get in these politicial parties, is what is less than that, and this really shows up with these decisions where integrity and intelligence are paramount. I make this remark after what I have heard from people who have proved that they are indeed intelligent, not just by my own beliefs, although I believe I am right, and the evidence seems to prove it.

This is the morning, I should be on my way, but my shift starts at ten this time.
rechtub in two threads with about the same name asks us to hear see and maybe follow his opinion. Like an NRL winger he lightly sides steps his miss use of words, throws a dummy pass at me, for using the word rabbott. Notice I dropped it during the campaign? Others, forever and ever a minority, claim all politicians are, well what are they selling? It is not true, on both sides of the fence good men and women live. If today was one vote one value, first past the post, my party would win, always every time. Most independents would not exist, greens may not hold a senate seat but it would be close to impossible for conservatives to govern. My side may fall today, I would eat much humble pie, Begin a campaign to remove the government. But never ever would I brand conservative voters as stupid or biased. in every post rechtub you ask to be heard, then give evidence you need not be. Those Broncos, have they gone too early? Have a nice day. Foxy, never give in not over yet. PS our system is the best we can for the present I would think one vote one value would kill good government if it only let one team win. Belly>>rechtub in two threads with about the same name asks us to hear see and maybe follow his opinion.
Like an NRL winger he lightly sides steps his miss use of words, throws a dummy pass at me, for using the word rabbott. The use of the word 'Rabbot' was merely to advise foxy of an irregularity commonly found in labor puppets. Note there has been no response, point proven, I would think. Now as for the ;'double up' on posts, I appologise but it took almost four days for this thread to get posted. Well what an interesting turn of events we have unfolding. Our sitting party has already started the 'blame game' and the result, although still in the balance, should be reason for labor to hang thier collective heads in shame for they have not only wasted billions of tax payer money, most of which has not been collected yet, but they have also lost all credibillity from the voting public, even some of which would have been thier former followers. Remeber, win, loose or draw, this was a 'majority government' brought to its knees by a gross underdog. All this gross incompitence and not one person is financially liabe. What a joke they are! Right on, rectub
No calling Abbott rabbott, but acceptable for many here to call Gillard, Gizzard. Now I get it - thanks for the heads up. Posted by Johnny Rotten, Sunday, 22 August 2010 10:33:19 AM

JR, not worth responding to other than to say, read the post from foxy.

Also, Krudds government had an historic victory over the howard/costelo government and the howard government was stronger than the present coalition.
Since that election, julia gillard has replaced krudd as Pm and, in her own words, delivered the people of Australia with a 'stronger government'.
All agree so far?
So, how can it be that the gillard goverment, remembering that they are stronger than the government that defeated howard/costelo, are struggling to defeat a depleted coalition.
Good luck to the labor puppets explaining this one!
Bad luck for the australian public as we race to the bottom.
