Oh, this seems a good spot to ask Yabby, or anyone else if they know.

I notice in South West WA there is a heap of places, 20-30, with names all ending in UP.

Can you tell me why this is and how it came about? Just curious.

I wish you and everyone else on OLO a Great and safe festive season.

Ps. I've just come back from watching Avatar in 3D.

*I'm not the movie type*, the last one I went to was 5 years ago, but this was an experience and then some.
Possibly the best conceived and executed movie thus far. The peak of the art so to speak it isn't hard to see how they spent $400 million making it. It's really worth the money. There's something in it for everybody . On so many levels. As an allegory of today, colonialism its almost a truism.
