I had a beloved cat euthanized, it was so quick and painless she did not know. We love our pets enough to put them out of their pain.
Why not me or you or anyone who wants to end the misery? I will not live a life of degradation and dependence and I will not have people tell me I should. I fear being immobilised after a stroke and not being able to do this for myself. But I will find a way.
While all the do-gooders are wringing their hands, they are also complaining about the health care beds being taken up by elderly patients. You can't have it both ways. You can't keep people alive by any means then say they are a burden on society. Get real!! When is a government in this country going to get the guts to legalize euthanasia? I hope in my lifetime.
