oh dear i have done it again[so untying the rope from arround my neck [and climbing down from the high stool im standing in] i recant leaving for a year

what i meant was leaving the post[unless you guys been talking to grayham ;and know something i dont]i have a somwhat peverse personality and try to make light from other's some what darker postings]

forgive my somwhat loose turn of phrase [you see the only talking i do is in my single finger spell ing] so what your getting from me is only an echo of what the slower parts of my mind is shining light on at this given moment of time[often the words dont match my thoughts[and on reading it find humour in some of the miss spellings ,and leave them in ,other times edit them out]

its all pretty much like reading tealeaves for me[im just saying as i feel at the time] the last time [last few times]i checked and say two literate giants attemting to cut the ground out from under each other and thought well this post is done ,so thought to make my last post on it in my version of an upbeat manner

we are these mental images on a page [pure fictions that allow us to realise some intercommunication with each other based on letter spell's

[casting little letters into form,of whole sentances limited to 350 words] im just wending through every spell being cast in everypost]as a way to fill in this life term...just like in the next life i will be visiting the vairious realms ,in the next incarnation ,exploring the fictions presented as fact in each of them

whenever i try to explain , it just adds further con-fusion [so i dont do it often] and should know better than trying to ex-plain ,anyhow where was i ...

oh yah john lennon ..
..theres going to be an evolution ..yea yeah you know.. gonna right the constitution yea yea ya know

Some more New Year’s Resolutions:

Bill Vaughan
Youth is when you're allowed to stay up late on New Year's Eve. Middle age is when you're forced to.

P. J. O'Rourke
The proper behavior all through the holiday season is to be drunk. This drunkenness culminates on New Year's Eve, when you get so drunk you kiss the person you're married to.

Jay Leno
Now there are more overweight people in America than average-weight people. So overweight people are now average… which means, you have met your New Year's resolution.

James Agate
New Year's Resolution: To tolerate fools more gladly, provided this does not encourage them to take up more of my time.

Eric Zorn
Making resolutions is a cleansing ritual of self assessment and repentance that demands personal honesty and, ultimately, reinforces humility. Breaking them is part of the cycle.

Bill Vaughan
An optimist stays up until midnight to see the New Year in. A pessimist stays up to make sure the old year leaves.

Oprah Winfrey
Cheers to a New Year and another chance for us to get it right.

Mark Twain
New Year's Day… now is the accepted time to make your regular annual good resolutions. Next week you can begin paving hell with them as usual.

Judith Crist
Happiness is too many things these days for anyone to wish it on anyone lightly. So let's just wish each other a bile-less New Year and leave it at that.

Anonymous
Many people look forward to the New Year for a new start on old habits.

Anais Nin
I made no resolutions for the New Year. The habit of making plans, of criticizing, sanctioning and molding my life, is too much of a daily event for me.

Oscar Wilde
Good resolutions are simply checks that men draw on a bank where they have no account.
Anonymous
A New Year's resolution is something that goes in one Year and out the other.

Leonard Bernstein
From New Year's on the outlook brightens; good humor lost in a mood of failure returns. I resolve to stop complaining.

Dear OUG,

I'm glad that you're not leaving for a year
after all. I'll look forward to more of your posts.

Dear Celivia,

Thank You for all the wonderful New Year quotes.
Welcome back, and Happy New Year!

I think this thread has now run its course, so
I'll be leaving it, but before I go, once again
I'd like to Thank everyone for their inputs, and
I'll leave with this quote...

"What can be said in New Year rhymes,
That's not been said a thousand times?
The New Years come, the old years go,
We know we dream, we dream we know.
We rise up laughing with the light,
We lie down weeping with the night.
We hug the world until it stings,
We curse it then and sigh for wings.
We live, we love, we woo, we wed,
We wreathe our prides, we sheet our dead.
We laugh, we weep, we hope, we fear,
And that's the burden of a year."

All The Best,

I've probably missed you now as you did say you were leaving - the thread that is, not OLO!

Yes, I definitely misinterpreted your post. I guess that can happen when you give us snatches of words and ideas as you so often do and leave us to join the dots. We can get it wrong.

Sorry about that. And pleased to know you're sticking around after all.

no worries bronwyn loved your list of resolutions

i never know about sticking around[everytime i settle in a site as a regular seems i get banned as soon as i let my guard down][i just need to not mention israel [that seems the common link in my suspensions at other previous sites][so if my posts stop you know i was struck out the third time]

but thankfully our moderators treat us like adults
if i upset anyone they just rebut or correct me

[i allready had [two] [one week] suspensions here
so im not really hanging on here but by a slender thread]

but hey thats the game isnt it?

trying to help bring change to a world [that dont want change] well sometimes its time to let go or move on [moderators know best]

grayham is the only moderator ever
to explain why i was suspended
[you gotta know that is fair,

and if people cant rebut me they get me banned
[being banned yet has its good points] had i not been banned the first time i would still be posting at invision , yahoo ...etc,and never found this place

anyhow loved your resolution-ing list
cheers

[ya havnt got a good hangover cure eh?]
only joking i dont drink to excess[but sure smoke too much]

"no worries bronwyn loved your list of resolutions"

Can't take credit here, I'm afraid. I think the list you're referring to was Celivia's. I agree with you though, it was a good one.
