Trust a miserable goose like Antiseptic to utilise a lighthearted thread as the venue for a gratuitous insult.

Clearly, he's having a wonderfully spiteful holiday with his perfect self.

Yeah, great "solution", Yabby. Oh well, at least it gave Ludwig a chuckle.

We all know you're a serious reader of The Economist and The Livestock Journal or whatever, Yabby, but for those who don't "realdoll" could give a misleading impression as to your internet browsing habits.

Oh, of course, Yabs, you just stumbled across it, didn't you. Silly me.

Actually Bromwyn, they had a documentary about those realdolls
on SBS some months ago. I was blown away, because the guys
who purchased them, not only spent a huge about of money,
(9 Grand or so), but spent time dressing them up etc, have a forum
for them, quite amazing! They take it very seriously and in Japan
its a huge hit!

The businessman in me of course started to crunch the numbers and
wonder if we could not make them much cheaper in China and flog
them off to lonely farmers etc. What a great business opportunity!

Marketing of course would be a breeze.

These dolls don't age or can have parts replaced, they don't
sue for half or more of the property and they never have a
headache. Watch out for the competition Bronwyn :)

Yabby, yes they also post them off to doll doctors who re-rubber the worn out bits, lol.

I wouldn't marry me, lush as I am.

Ah Meredith, yet another business opportunity! Selling spare parts
would provide an ongoing income stream.

Meantime I reckon that if they can flog them for 9 grand, made
in China for half that price at 4.5 grand, I could easily flog
off 3000 or so. At 1 Grand a pop markup, that is serious money,
not to be sneezed at. ( around 3 million )

Meantime I see that they are making a male version, so perhaps
there would be a market there for lonely women.

We'd need to include sound of course. It could say whatever women
want, like "yes darling, you look great in that dress, you don't
look fat at all"

Long live market economics!
