OZ Defence got run down over decades (so rundown I thought "hey, thats almost deliberate") and its still poor... even 3rd world considering all we have built and all we have to lose. We need to be independent of the USA unless she's not there one day to protect the younger brother.

Steven L Meyer reckons we need nukes as a deterent? He could be right. Without a capacity to deliver though, all of the way even to China, nukes wouldnt be a great help. I may find some of your views extreme, and may in future oppose them, but in future I'm going to do it in the right spirit. That's what OLO is all about, presenting both sides of the story. Just because we're Christians doesn't mean we have to agree on everything. It's no use us agreeing on everything if we are all wrong. We learn from opposing ideas, and serious debate.

I had to admit to my Pastor last Sunday that because we have lived in such a prosperous society for many years now, and I personally have achieved prosperity, that it is very easy to forget how to trust God.

Actually you can pick the era for the great Chinese outward march into asia (for any southwards movement on to Australia of this huge military force we have to rely on "extra revelations"...i.e. visions and prophecies additional to the KINGS OF THE EAST written about in Revelation 9:16 and 16:12). Prophecies and visions still happen even today.
I dont suppose all that many folks realise this...but a time can be picked and with some general accuracy.

We were talking in church (small on-fire for The Holy Spirit pentecostal christian church) last Friday night about the economic chaos sweeping the world and how the "money lovers" were desperately looking for a man to sort it all out.
Well that man is there, somewhere out there amongst the sea of other faces, and believed to be alive today.
He is called the Beast and he is the final Adolf Hitler and will, it appears, reign from the European Union. Time for the Jews to leave.
His reign will last 7 years and it is at the end of this 7 year reign that he so stirs up China with his mad behaviour that China commits to putting her soldiers on the outward, westward path to confont him.

How do we know he is alive today? It is simple.
In Revelation 13 verses 16-18 and in 14 verses 9-11 we see a new ID/banking system involving a mark on either the right hand or forehead or as it appears its going to be...a micropchip (the mark of the beast 666).
George Bush has at least once mentioned this mark as "an E-tag for everyone. Got to watch for those terrorists".
The BBC has already presented it as "a good idea to help watch for possible terrorists".
...and, of course, medical science an old peoples homes wants to microchip the old folks so they can monitor them if they wander away.

Why would the populations of Asian countries bother invading Australia when they can simply migrate here peacefully?

A peaceful demographic takeover is much easier and cheaper than a military invasion, especially when the country in question is allowing itself to be taken over.

As it stands, the Australian government is effectively giving the populations of Asian countries the green light to colonise Australia, a policy historian Geoffrey Blainey labelled the "surrender Australia" policy.

According to Blainey:

"In the past 30 years the government of Australia has moved from the extreme of wanting a white Australia to the extreme of saying that we will have an Asian Australia and that the quicker we move towards it the better."

If present immigration trends continue, Asian countries will be able to conquer Australia without firing a shot.

If such a scenario seems far-fetched and alarmist, then I suggest you look at demographic trends in the United States, particularly in a number of the southern states where Hispanic immigrants and their descendants now form the largest ethnic/racial group.

Poor OZ...its like a dream for most of us...a land of wealth and safety.

The bottom line shown in prophecies and visions to the christians of Australia since the 70's is that... we have to do it all ourselves regarding national defence.
