I noticed few posters cheat the system by creating fake/ Additional IDs or use the hyphenation.

Maybe it is an opportunity for OLO to create paid accounts for those who want to exceed their daily or words limit.

I am aware it won't stop those who want to cheat, but it provides an honest alternative for those who want to.

Thoughts?

If a total of up to 15 posts a day isn't enough, I suggest an urgent search for a life!

Agreed Antiseptic.

Given my current financial situation I would no longer continue to post - although there are some who would rejoice in that.

Have already donated money, isn't that enough?

Fellow Human,

You aren't a pseudoname for Graham are you by any chance? It seems strange for a regular contributor to want to introduce payment (which of course would probably spread across the board if enough people were paying).

Antiseptic,

Here here!

I'm happy with the way things are.

I certainly couldn't afford to pay
for extras.

Also, I think having a limit let's
you calm down a bit, when things
get emotional. It gives you time
to reflect and perhaps re-think
your response.

Having unlimited responses would
not be a good idea.

Fellow_Human:

This is the sort of drivel that we could expect from a government body, NOT from a thinking person!

If it wasn`t for all the contributors and posters,(regardless of whether they are using more than one pseudonym or not!) these Forum and On Line Opinion sites would simply become the medium for big business and political fat-cats to push their own one-sided issues and control for their own selfish interests!

For genuine cross-representational discussions and opinions on the many and varied subjects, the site must be available to each and every member of our society, which it would NOT be if a fee were to be levied for participation by it`s contributors!

Do we NOT pay enough now to access the Internet and the various sites, especially if you are like myself and have no option than to use a Dial-up Connection with a phenominal Download speed of 28.8 Kbps with a very regular line drop-out rate ( and so because I do NOT have Credit Card facilities, I find subscribing to anything at all a very painstaking operation, due to having to use the Snail-Mail procedure to forward payment by way of personal cheque!

The Forum/On Line Opinion system seems to have worked pretty well to date so why change it?
