I know many on this site like to argue and theres just a whole heap of info/technical data...but would the site be more interesting if management allowed more stories?
Not a great flood perhaps, but an increase.
I feel stories help.
They help people to understand how others have lived and what troubles they have gone through... and in many cases how those folks found solutions to the troubles.
I sit in on AA... and its great.
Its like a loving fellowship and the stories are marvellous.
We bond as close friends and we help each other.
So many people here have been to places and seen unusual things.
I think their stories would be a blessing to those who didnt travel with them but would have loved to have been there.

I'm sure there are many blogs where you can comment on life stories. I come here because I want to discuss news, current affairs and social issues, not talk about Gibo's odyssey as a young cop before schizophrenia ruled his life.

So my vote is for fewer life stories and fewer partisan political diatribes lacking evidence.

How about youre life story Sancho. Or dont you have much to say. A bland childhood leading to a bland adulthood?

Gibo, if we're blessed with the gift of delusion then yes - other lives will seem bland by comparison.

It's an unfortunate side effect of growing up and living in reality - we have to give up the flying saucers and prophetic conspiracy theories.

I'll admit, when I gave up those things life did seem a little less interesting. Or maybe it's just because the world seems bigger when you're eight years old.

That being said, comparing my life to other adult 'real' lives, I find mine is rather exciting actually, and I rather suspect I'm enjoying the road less travelled.

But alas, no grand battles between the forces of light and dark just yet.

So Graham doesn't (recently) allow topics that are basically just self indulgent narratives, but allows a topic complaining about the lack of such?

Yeh...guys I know what you say. But its all so bland here so often. Most lives seem small and dull and fixated on other peoples articles and answering them and very little comes from the heart or the memory.
Most of you are closed books. Isnt that a narrow road?
