I think this a very bad title. The only question that should be asked is whether "Doom" is an accurate response. Far too many in our society simply don't give a !@#$ about anything or are denialists and that has hurt our country badly.

'Even Jesus Christ needed the "economy" all those many years ago, in order to feed and clothe himself and to effectively operate.'

Never heard anything so ridiculous! Then again man has an atrocious record at telling God how things would be if they were God.

"Ridiculous" eh?

Do you deny that the Mary and Joseph were a part of society in those times, and were the Earthly parents of Jesus Christ? Do you deny that Mary and Joseph cared for Jesus while he was young?

If you don't deny these basic facts, then how do you think they acquired the food, clothing and shelter for Jesus? They acquired these essentials by taking part in the economy of the times, just like all the other parents then.

When Jesus grew up and was taking care of himself, how do you think he acquired food, shelter and clothing? Did it just fall from the clouds? Of course not. Both Jesus, and his supporters, participated in the "economy" in order to have shelter, food and clothing for Jesus.

My initial statement stands. Jesus Christ used the "economy" of the times, just like everyone else, in order to provide his food, clothing and shelter.

Steel,if god banished doom, the AGW Cult would lose it's power base. With Global temps still falling, the hockey stick gone, they have now discovered ocean acidification.

I think that people like Steel will be rather disappointed if AGW is proven to be a farce. You'll have no thunder to frighten us with.

Arjay>"if god banished doom"

Wait. let me get this straight. You are appealing to an adult version of santa claus commonly referred to as God, while equating scientists with religious prophets/end worlders?

Yes there is too much doom and gloom.
But Gibo is unlikely to change, most of it is from him.
