The Energy Watch Group (EWG) ummm, its a German scientific
organisation that studied coal reserves. They brought out a report last year in March.
I think, hang on I think I have a copy of their report.
Yes, I do. It is a very high powered group judging by their CVs and their references.

There was a lot of discussion at the time.
They discovered that the reserves of most countries had not been updated for about
25 years and everyone was presuming that there were
hundreds of years of coal available.

While I was looking for their URL I saw a graph which looks just like
a Hubbard curve but for hard coal in Germany and they are almost
finished with coal in 2000.
Well worth a read, it makes you realise that all the global warming
panic about coal is a bit pointless.

Re the cooling it was a report from a Russian Institute that did
a study and predicts global cooling starting about now.
I did not keep it or note its URL so I cannot help there but
maybe google will help again. It was only about a week ago.
