It seems that the Coalition and Labor, both pooping their pants after finally realising the concern Australians have about mass immigration, and the fact that One Nation has shown willing on the problem, are to do some dealing to stop the march of One Nation. Nothing to do with what's best for Australia. Just politics and survival of our two party system.

Albanese recently met with Taylor and Shadow Minister Duniam to discuss stalled visa overhaul.

Taylor has already called for removal of legal aid in some cases, and implementation of a ‘safe country’ list, and values-based immigration, as well as positing that present numbers of immigrants are too high, and standards are too low.

When an agreement is reached, Labor will announce its changes to immigration, “in total”.

A possible backlash from the Labor caucus is acknowledged. The same caucus that undermined Minister Burke recently. Labor is always squawking about One Nation's top-down operation; perhaps they should do a little of that to control their ratbags.

If this overdue co-operation has been brought about by One Nation and the polls (that the legacy mob pretends mean nothing), the party has already been successful.

Hanson; "We'll CUT immigration to 130,000!

Barnyard; "I must apologise for our dim-wit leader, she can't count, its a tad more!"

Davo; "Yep 130,000...plus a few fruit pickers...that's 230,000 or so"

Mad Mal; "De fuhrer, she will not be happy with dis talk!

My theory is that the people already living here should get to have a say in 'who and how many', when it comes to who want to share our island with.

Taylor seems to be talking about a safe country list, what about a shite country list?
Maybe we should rate foreigners on how good or bad their race, religion or culture is.

Do we prefer a culture embracing lets say meditation (8 stars) or people that like to eat pets (1 star / no stars)

Are all races, religions and cultures equal?
Why shouldn't we discern or discriminate?

If we're going to go on accusing everyone of being racist and whatnot anyway why not just ask the banned questions.

Tens of thousands march across Germany to protest against far-right AfD
http://www.aljazeera.com/news/2026/9/12/tens-of-thousands-march-across-germany-to-protest-far-right-party-afd

>>Tens of thousands of people took to the streets across Germany to protest against the Alternative for Germany (AfD) after the far-right party won a state election by a landslide.
About 150,000 demonstrators turned out in roughly 20 cities on Saturday, including Berlin, Hamburg and Munich, in rallies organised by Pruef, a campaign group pushing for a ban on the AfD.<<

'We love democracy, but only if we're winning.
We just need to just ban the other team'

I'm sick of all this horse shite.

Politics greatest parasite Pauline Hanson has taken to attacking Anthony Albanese's dead mother! What a disgusting cretin this woman is! Thirty years in politics sucking off the public purse, Hanson has contributed nothing, and achieved nothing. No wonder she is supported by welfare rorters and lazy pensioner thieves!

"Pauline Hanson has taken to attacking Anthony Albanese's dead mother! "

When I heard that I thought that had Magoo grown up with Priminstas and gumments as hopeless as him and his, he'd have grown up couch surfing and living in a car (or camping).

You can present yourself as a great humanitarian like Hugo Chavez, but if you eff things up everyone ends up destitute. Then the socialist paradise turns into a nightmare like it always does.

Hi Fester,

I'm not sure what kind of "paradise" you want. Attacking an opponents dead mother is a new low even for the wicked witch. Do you not agree? As I said, Hanson has been a political parasite for 30 years, living off the public purse, whilst contributing nothing other than hate and bile to the political discourse of this country.

From the opposite side of politics from where I sit, people like Johnny Howard etc I may not have agreed with their politics, but I never thought they were as low and as nasty as Hanson, and they did care about the Australian people, dare I say Morrison and Abbott did as well.

I had noted in an earlier thread how interesting it was that Hanson, without actually being in power or having any real power to speak of, was dominating the immigration debate and overturning the shibboleths of the major parties in regards to the number and make-up of Australia's population. Its quite a feat for someone who, according to the elite, is a complete fool!!

Now we have the majors attempting to co-operate to put the kybosh on the immigration issue ie the establishment is circling the wagons to try to save their phoney-baloney jobs.

It was only last year that Albo was telling us that the government didn't really have too much control over the number of immigrants and so the massive post-WuFlu rise wasn't their fault. "Please don't blame us!!" Now it seems that they have complete control. I wonder what changed? Oh yeah...the polling - the only thing that really matters to people like Albo.

If they think that simply making an announcement that they'll change the system at some time down the track and that things will all be okey-dokey in a decade or so, will do the trick, they are more delusional than I thought.

What they need to do is announce that, as of tomorrow, numbers are halved or similar, that student visas are going to be strictly controlled no matter how much the universities whine. And they need to stare-down and be seen to stare-down the anti-Australian members of their own parties who will scream blue-murder at such changes. Then, and only then, will they be able to confront One Nation on this issue.

Then One Nation can move to the next issue.

I was reviewing the rise of Hanson for another purpose and its amusing to remember just how this all started.

Hanson was the Liberal candidate for the QLD seat of Oxley in the 1996 election. The seat was a Labor stronghold and she was given little chance of winning it. She wrote a letter to a local paper criticising special government assistance and “privileges” for Aboriginal people and arguing it fostered dependency and resentment.

Queue the usual screams of outrage. For the left, even considered criticism of anything aboriginal is a hanging offence. The Liberals, who were trying to overthrow Keating, ran scared and dumped Hanson as their candidate. She got massive publicity and since the ballots had already been printed, she remained in the election but now as an independent.

And she won. A massive shock to elite and the shocks have been coming for the last 30 years.

Imagine what would have happened if the fascists of the left hadn't tried to censor Hanson's views. She was a minor player in a minor electorate and her letter would have disappeared overnight. She would have lost the election and never been heard of again.

Oh the delicious irony.

The Nazi Party received 2.5% of the vote at the German election of 1928, five years later they were in Power, with complete control. So there is hope for your pin-up gal yet!

Hi Paul,

Magoo has a thin skin. I think his mum had rheumatoid arthritis, which can be very debilitating and was far less well managed back then, so yes, poor form from Pauline.

Contrast that with Magoo's descriptions of his critics as peddlers of misinformation or dark forces, and his frequent attempts to shut them up with authoritarian legislation. Also, if you are one of Magoo's goons, then he is regularly referring to his critics as Nazis, old fs etc, suggesting Aus will be a better place when we die.

I'm just a punter upset with the clown show and the betrayal of conservative voters by the Libs.

Hi Fester,

To say your opponents are peddles of misinformation or dark forces, is not unreasonable in political debate. As for the use of the term Nazi, just as I am refereed to as a Maoists/Marxist/Communists, its just as legitimate. Have I ever referred to YOU as a Nazi, no I have not, why because you come across more as a conservative than anything else. Am I a Labor supporter? To a degree, I think they make some mistakes, just as all governments do, but do I think they are doing a good job, its reasonable what they do. Not in agreement with some of their foreign policies, nor not fully supportive of their housing policy, believe they could be doing more.

Irrespective of what Pauline Hanson said about Albanese's mother - it was uncalled for, particularly the suggestion that a person on a disability pension with no hope in the world of ever buying a house should get out of public housing after a certain period - One Nation has already influenced immigration insofar as both sides of the uniparty are starting to talk about it. Even Albanese is talking about changes including dropping foreign student family visas (how ridiculous are they), limited appeals to tribunals, and better ways to send people back from whence they came.

A One Nation government is fanciful in my opinion; but their gaining enough seats to become a real influencer is definitely not fanciful.

The influence continues, with a proposal to slash 750,000 temporary visas, and get rid of unlawful non-citizens, plus a policy of net-negative immigration for 3 years, with a ‘ceiling’ (no minimum) of 130,000 after that.

The biggest chop would be to foreign students, a reduction from around 600,000 currently to about 350 000; priority given to universities providing student accommodation. The temporary graduate 485 visa (staying on to work, 18month non-renewable) capped at 20,000.

No visas for families of temporary workers.

No visa “hopping” by students trying to stay here after 18 months.

80,000 illegals, 3 months to leave voluntarily, then all out.

Visa overstayers permanently banned from entry.

No change to working holiday makers.

Nobody from ‘do not travel’ countries, including “asylum seekers”.

Straight forward. No ifs or buts.

I cant help thinking that international students get counted twice.

First as students then as skilled migrants.
They cant come here twice.

Does anyone have a problem with us picking our skilled migrants from this group?
After all they are educated in Australian facilities and hold Australian qualifications.

Or do we want to see skills shortages and very low unemployment, probably interest rate increases. Definitely wage rises.

Hi Mikk,

To these prejudiced lot of ignorant's, their mind set view of "migrants" are some non-English speaking uneducated "Pakistani" dressed in a tunic with sandals on his feet and a "topie" cap on his head, carrying a battered old suitcase off the plane.

The truth is, while Australia needs controlled migration, who doesn't agree with that, it also needs skilled workers, which in themselves are "gold" to the economy. To give you an example, a niece of my wife's and her husband "migrated" across the ditch a few years back. He's a successful home builder in Auckland, and she's the office, kids grown up, so they came to the Gold Coast and set up a second building business there. Its been a gold mine for them, bring skilled employees from NZ to work here when needed, and using locals as well. He splits his time between the two businesses, they are only in their 40's, and millionaires.

It depends what the skills are; are the skills real (we are hearing that non-English speaking students are being given qualifications, not earning them). That needs to be investigated. But, allowing students to stay gets us back to the idea that getting a student visa is back-door immigration, which is why one of the terms under discussion is that applications should be made from overseas - i.e go back home, then apply.

As well, some of the non-university courses are ‘iffy’, of no use to either the student or Australia. These people just supply cheap labour to avaricious businesses and lower wages, which are already too low and, perhaps, the reason why locals are among the 700,000 unemployed.

The entire immigration system is a mess, and needs a lot of work done on it.

Hi ttbn,

"wages, which are already too low ". According to the parasite MP Hanson, the one that turns up for work 12% of the time, workers are lazy and should be easily sacked. Is that why One Nation opposes all wage increases, including the last minimum wage increase, wants to supply Gina Rhinoceros with cheap coolie labour. Wants to dismantle workers superannuation. Tell us where does One Nation stand on workers rights and wages? Other than pandering to the mega rich elites.

The racist Hanson today took to racially abusing First nations people. Not satisfied with attacks on workers, migrants, war hero's, women affected by DV and the PM's long departed invalid mother, Hanson is now spitting her bile at Aboriginal people, another group on her very long hate list. Disgusting!

BTW, the lazy Redhead failed to turn up for work today in Parliament. Nothing new in that, if a worker turned up only 12% of the time he'd be SACKED!

"The racist Hanson today took to racially abusing First nations people."

Yep, the uniparty is searching through her past to find something they can use against her. ANYTHING.

She said the so-called First People (they weren't but let's play pretend) were the most primitive on earth until the POMS turned up. She was accused of racism and being divisive. But strangely no one said she was wrong!!
What she said was true.... you're just not supposed to say it out loud, apparently.

Pauline Hanson Senate voting compares with other Senators: 53-57%. No complaints about those other Senators, including Penny Wong at 29%. Senators are probably doing more useful things outside of the chamber, finding out what is happening in the real world.

While the few people with aboriginal heritage are like everyone else these days, they were the most primitive, non-productive people on Earth in 1788 when the British arrived.

PH is no diplomat. She says it the way it is - a shock to the po-faced Left who prefer lies - and she is right. People who ignore history have no idea what a miserable lot the original occupiers of this country really were.

I've told you before I'm not a One Nation supporter. In the final analysis I won't vote 1 for them although I'll preference them over many others.

So, while not a O-N supporter, I am a supporter of the truth and the truth is she was in parliament yesterday and, as best as I can see no one is saying she's factually wrong to say the so-called First People were the most primitive on the planet before the POMS arrived, just that she shouldn't be pointing it out.

"and would drive Australia into RECESSION!"

We are already headed there without the help of One Nation. Indeed by some measures (eg per capita GDP) we are already there.

Despite the unnecessary and perhaps cruel comments made about Albanese's long-dead mother there is a big 'however'.

Albanese himself started gabbling about his mother and tearing up. Otherwise, we would never have heard about her. If politicians don't want their dead or alive families brought into their grubby jobs, the should shut about them.

In Albanese's case, it was an attempt to get sympathy. The Monty Python moaning about being brought up in public housing was part of the act. (The MP character won the poor-me competition by say his family lived in a paper bag).

Not getting any sympathy, Albanese recently said he was "proud" to be a 'houso'. What's to be proud about growing up in public housing, or a palace for that matter! It's very flaky, self-obsessed personality Albanese has. Not suited to politics.

Everyone with half a brain believes an Australian domestic east coast gas reservation policy is vital in securing cheap energy for the country. BUT, not Gina, sorry not Pauline, as One Nation has dumped any pretence of supporting such a policy. Pauline Hanson's accurate description of 60 thousand years old and nothing to show for it aboriginal society on a little known podcast was actually expressed a year ago. September 14th, 2025. So desperate is the uniparty to put the woman down, they have to dig up the past - again. The polls show that their contemporary rubbish is having no effect.

Hanson is not the first person to correctly describe the pre-British arrival of aboriginal society being the most primitive in the world, because it was, compared to other ancient societies world-wide. There was nothing recognisable as ‘civilisation’.

The traditional Aboriginal Australia occupied the extreme lower end of the world’s spectrum of material, productive and centralised political complexity. There is a serious case that no other large cultural population was clearly below it.

"No, it is not accurate or fair to describe Aboriginal society as primitive. While early European colonisers used the word because Aboriginal people did not build industrial cities or use metals, modern historians, anthropologists, and archaeologists have thoroughly debunked this view. Instead, they recognise First Nations cultures as highly sophisticated, complex, and deeply adapted to the Australian continent"
AI View.

Again, the racist wants to put First Nations people down based on a European prospective of what is advanced, and what is primitive. If your only measure is what your society has achieved materially, and not the other, then you are going to describe the other as primitive, and yours as advanced. I consider Aboriginal society to be different from that of European, and there cannot be a direct comparison made.

Something of interest;

The Barbarians that sacked Rome considered the Romans barbarians. Germanic tribes, and other outsiders viewed Roman civilisation as a less enlightened society to their own and more as a aggressive, destructive society intent on war and conquest, Roman conquest was savagery to them. The Greeks thought of the Romans as savages, pointing to their pleasure in the staging of cruel mass executions as entertainment. Roman cities were seen as cramped, filthy, disease-ridden places that bred soft, corrupt, and untrustworthy people. Hardly a civilisation to aspire to.

I think that intelligence/resourcefulness, the state of civilisation and the skill set of individuals are separate issues, which is a reason I voted no in the voice referendum. Surviving harsh Australian environments requires the first and last, but your civilisation can have almost no technical development, writing etc.

I remember listening to ph being attacked on the ABC when she first ran for the senate. No chance of winning and just after money from the electoral commission. Things haven't changed and inciting hatred remains a dumb strategy.

Paul1405,
Very fair assumption ! Is it absolute fact, who knows ! One thing is for sure, as time went on many societies changed due to learning from experience via mistakes or discovery !
The other undeniable fact is that the better a society had it the more it fostered stupidity & their eventual downfall proved that point. Those who were conquered or occupied adopted the easier ways offered & eventually went down the gurgler like so many others ! Now it is the Wests turn again ! The Aborigines were like a broken record stuck for a very long time & due to the climate here there literally was no need to become inventive in the sense of technological achievement & planning for the future.
It is interesting though to witness how they now demand every bit & more to have a slice of the cake but without the effort & too many of the fake refugees are of the same mentality ! And, that is what brought about the necessity of a group of people such as One Nation. This party is literally the last hope to save the Indigenous & the society as it was until it began to fracture from 1972 onward. Fifty years of indoctrination for progressive regress is more than enough evidence & reason to stop the rot !

The claim that Hanson is being attacked for was that the so-called First People (they weren't the first people but let's play pretend) were the MOST primitive on earth in the 18th century.

Primitive is one of those things that can mean different things to different people and can be manipulated by people like 15TrillionPaul to hide the truth.

But consider this. Aboriginals had no writing or any other way of recording events, knowledge or transactions while most other parts of the world had those things for at least the previous 12000 years.

Aboriginals had no idea or means of making pottery. (There were some pots found in the Torres Strait but these were likely from more advanced New Guinean peoples). Peoples in Asia and Europe had been making pots for 20,000 years and in America and Africa for 10000 years. Pots were the first step toward civilisation and the Aboriginals were no closer to it in 1788 than they were in 20,000 BC. Lack of pots meant that the transport and processing of many food sources were unavailable to Aboriginals. They couldn't even boil water to make a cuppa - how primitive is that?

Some aboriginal tribes had forgotten or never learned how to make fire which had been a human trait for at least 50,000 years.

They weren't just primitive compared to Europeans. They were primitive compared to pretty much every other peoples on earth and were it not for the discovery of Australia by outsiders, they still be the most primitive people on earth. Hanson's point was that trying to teach our kids that these people were worth studying or admiring is sending our kids down the garden path. The only reason to study aboriginal society is to discover how societies fail

Pauline Hanson is starting to slip. She has apologised for telling the truth about the most miserable, ignorant race of people ever. Unfortunately, as always, the right side of politics doesn't have the mongrel in it to survive for long in Australia. The combined forces of Labor, Liberals, Nationals, Greens and the mainstream media looks like prevailing. That single, unnecessary weakness will bring Hanson down.

I can't see what was looking like hope lasting the two years until the next election.

Albanese's “march of populism” might be occurring in some parts of the world: just not in Australia, where the population doesn't want to face reality.

I have to admit that I have believed the polls, but should have known better. When push comes to shove, and Australians are faced with the real poll, all but a few will vote the way they always have. I also believe Pauline Hanson's apology will end her. Her backdown will further embolden the hyenas.

Mhaze,

I think the argument is that they had all manner of science, technology, law and culture as advanced and sophisticated as anywhere on earth, so gained nothing from the Brits arriving. Essentially it's a put down of western civilisation.

Hi ttbn,

Well, give us your definition of "primative".

Hi Trumpster,

No put down of Western civilisation, pointing out different civilisations. As for success Aboriginals were very successful in their adaptation within their environment, and had no need to change. If Western civilisation was an "advancement" then why were 93% of Aboriginals dead within 80 years of European arrival, considering they had survived successfully for 60,000 years?

Hi Fester,

Put it this way which is advanced and which is primitive, a crocodile or a whale? Crocodiles unchanged for 250 million years, whales which have constantly evolved over only 50 million years. By some measure one could say the crocodile is more advanced than the whale, so advanced there is no need for change. Then by some other measure the whale is more advanced, and the crocodile is primitive.

Other than a few exceptions on this Forum, Neanderthal Man become extinct and Homo Sapien Man survived and prospered, not because Neanderthals were primitive, and Homo Sapiens were advanced, the two groups were most likely as intelligent as each other, but Homo Sapiens adapted to the environment better than Neanderthals.

p/s Neanderthals today are a protected species, and we guarantee their survival by supporting them with aged welfare. Smile!

Pauline Hanson has shot herself in foot by ignoring the maxim 'never apologise, never explain'. Not giving a toss what opponents thought of her was her best weapon. Now, she will never be left alone by her tormentors. Once you start bothering about what people who will always disagree with you no matter what you say, its over. What she says was right, and she should have stuck to it. No further comment needed.

Hey 15TrillionPaul,

People can survive an still be primitive. But I understand that the aboriginal swooners just need to believe the so-called First People were something they most definitely were not.

People who lived in the Levant for 10's of millennia survived quite well. But until about 20,000 years ago they were primitive - no writing, no pottery, no agriculture, living season to season and being one bad season away from demographic disaster. You know, all the things that the aboriginals were still enduring in 1788.

___________________________________________________________________

"She has apologised for telling the truth about the most miserable"

Not really an apology. It was more along the lines of "if people were triggered by my facts, I'm sorry for that". You know, the same way I feel about 15TrillionPaul...you're uninformed and I'm sorry for that.

Hi Trumpster,

Well, so YOU say having pottery is a sign of advancement, what if you have no need for pottery? AND you are very successful without it. How does that detract from your "advancement". Oh! the "advanced" European civilisation with their pottery were ready for extinction within two years of arrival. The "primitive" civilisation, the ones with no pottery had to bail the "advanced" ones out, with a silly little thing called food. I know why the Europeans were failing, because they had no internet, primitive people don't have internet!

"one bad season away from demographic disaster" how lucky were they, only one roll of the fickle dice, and it's curtains, yet they survived for 60,000 seasons, just got lucky I guess!

What about the Old Farts, who in a land of plenty rely on aged welfare handouts from others to survive. Not very advanced people, must be primitive if they can't survive without their snouts in the taxpayers trough!

Hi 15TrillionPaul,

If mere survival means that a peoples aren't primitive, which is what 15TPaul is saying, then that means that there are no primitive peoples on earth. So the word primitive has no meaning in this screwed-up thinking of Paul.

When you have to totally redefine the meaning of a word in a moronic attempt by the aboriginal swooners to say the aboriginals were not what we all know them to be, then you've clearly proven the point.

I suspect the logic of that will go flying over Paul's head. But to summarise, in trying to redefine what primitive means he's admitting that the people he is trying to defend were indeed primitive in the standard meaning of the word ie Hanson was right

I’m old enough to remember some haunting words from Desiderata:

Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even to the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons; they are vexatious to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter, for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.

It appears that there are a lot of scared, vain and bitter old white people (and quite a few not so old) so scared of anyone not a clone of themselves, who have this insane need to feel ‘superior’. What a waste of energy.

"who have this insane need to feel ‘superior’. "

Let's recap. This all started because it was pointed out by Hanson that it is folly and not in the interests of children to teach them about a 'culture' that has nothing to offer them. Since then the efforts have been to try to shout her down. But those doing the shouting are crying "racist" and "divisive". But they aren't saying she's wrong.

Pointing out that they were primitive in the face of those who just wish it wasn't so, isn't an attempt to make themselves feel superior. Its simply adhering to a reverence for the truth which is very much under threat these days among those who pursue the vainglorious warm inner-glow of pandering to the aboriginal cultists.

Since we are now quoting from long past philosophers let me introduce Samuel Johnson (or perhaps James Boswell)....
"
Accustom your children constantly to this; if a thing happened at one window, and they, when relating it, say that it happened at another, do not let it pass, but instantly check them; you do not know where deviation from truth will end.”

While you’re at it, you might also do something about improving your comprehension skills. Nowhere did I “… put you all in with the British of yesteryear…” I am talking about a significant number of people living in Australia right now. Stop projecting.

Another thing to remember indy is that your side of politics has its cache of boring, overused and ultimately inaccurate cliches that it trots out at every occasion too – Marxist agenda, woke, fake news, antisemitic. The list goes on.

They're not uniquely White as you appear to suggest, they're universal & over the past 50 years are quite literally the domain of non-Whites !

ai search:

"do communist countries blame misinformation/disinformation for their failures?"

ai:Yes, communist states historically and currently frequently blame "misinformation," "disinformation," and "bourgeois propaganda" orchestrated by foreign powers for their internal failures.Rather than attributing systemic crises—such as economic stagnation, supply shortages, or public health emergencies—to policy flaws, governance failures, or the limitations of a command economy, communist regimes routinely rely on externalizing blame to maintain legitimacy and control the domestic narrative.Historically and in the modern day, this deflection manifests in several distinct ways:1. Rebranding Failures as "Western Disinformation"When independent journalists or foreign governments report on crises within a communist state, the regime's standard defense is to label the reporting as fabricated hostile propaganda. The Soviet Union: During the Cold War, systemic domestic failures (such as chronic agricultural shortfalls, product shortages, and political repression) were shielded from the public. Critical reporting from Western media outlets like Radio Free Europe or the BBC was routinely dismissed by Moscow as "bourgeois disinformation" designed to subvert the socialist state....

That describes Magoo's mo to a T. And Joo hating? Well, what's popping off a few at the beach and having a Joo hate rally on the bridge and at the opera house? That was ages ago anyway, and it's not as if anything horrible was done like waving Hamas flags and chanting f the Joos, gas the Joos, from the river to the sea etc.

Pauline Hanson wants more taxpayer-funded parliamentary staff because apparently One Nation doesn’t have enough resources to do the job.

PERHAPS ATTENDANCE IS WORTH DISCUSSING FIRST.

Parliamentary Library analysis reportedly found Hanson attended Senate Estimates on just 28 of 239 hearing days since returning to the Senate in 2016 about 12% attendance, meaning she missed roughly 88%.
And Senate Estimates isn’t some optional social event. Parliament describes it as playing a key role in scrutinising government spending and the executive.

SO BEFORE DEMANDING ADDITIONAL TAXPAYER FUNDED STAFF THERE'S A REASONABLE QUESTION:

If you’re absent for 88% of one of the Senate’s major accountability processes, is the problem really a lack of staff or how the existing parliamentary resources are being used?
And while we’re doing the maths:
One day in four = 25%
One day in three = 33.3%
25% is not greater than 33.3%.

Maybe get the attendance and the arithmetic sorted before asking taxpayers for more resources.

Paul1405,
Another reasonable question would be to do a comparison between 100% attendance of actual Government ministers vs Pauline's attendance & see from whom Australia benefits more.
Government ministers are always there yet the policies & general outcomes do not reflect any benefits, whereas Pauline's questioning in the Senate brings up issues that are neglected by the others. So, who is doing a better job for Australia ?

Okay, so the measure of an effective senator is attendance? You can attend 100% and be part of the clown show leaving Australia fubar and be a great senator?

It's because Magoo is beyond hopeless. That's why. Look at the footage of him in parliament denying any association with Royal Marrickville against footage of him speaking at the clubhouse saying he'd being going there for decades.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IZI09JXiXpo

And how does Magoo deal with the adverse scrutiny? Well, he gets his snouts in the trough mates like Rhysy to come to places like this and abuse the plebs, calling them nazis and speculating on their sexual fantasies. While that goes on he keeps getting legislation drafted to criminalise the plebs for saying things online that he doesn't like.

Time to get rid of Magoo and his grub helpers.

So what? Senate estimates are generally just places for Senators to show-boat. Whatismore, up to 4 estimate hearing can be held simultaneously meaning it would be impossible to attend more than 25%.

Notice how Paul no longer talks about the number of days Hanson was in the Sente chamber after I caught him out outright lying about it previously.

BTW Hanson voted in 53% of all Senate votes. Wong voted in 28%.

This pay represents over $1,000 a minute for the amount of time she turns up for work.

53%, anyone can make up a number like YOU have, why not say 147% its more believable! YOU should not mention the name of that hard working Australian Penny Wong, in the same breath as that lazy cow Hanson. In her 24 years in the Senate Penny Wong has achieved great things for Australia. I defy YOU to compare Wong's achievements to the lazy Hanson, who has done nothing except whinge for 30 years! (and collect a big fat pay cheque, on today's values, something like $10 million wasted paying a lazy do nothing Hanson.

With the loss of productivity, and the burden of non-productive's on the taxpayer, Australia needs to "redirect" certain sections of the community to "alternate locations". We presently have 2.7 million non-productive's receiving unjustified "Aged Welfare", whilst bleeding resources in healthcare and elsewhere. There are a number of uninhabited Pacific islands which would be ideal for the relocated. Introducing our old folks to the wonders of outdoor living, feeding would not be a problem as these islands have an abundant supply of coconuts (very nutritious). I hear you ask; "What will the old folks be doing on their island?" The short answer is "not much", but within a few years TV will be introduced to "paradise", and re-runs of "Coronation Street' could beamed into the old folks grass huts 24/7, and our old folks could feel right at home playing their favourite game of Parcheesi ( as the saying goes, Parcheesi, fun fun ,fun, for old and young!). This is a win win for all concerned! In this way Australia could boost its migrant intake to 2.7 million in the short term! All in favour?

For decades now the Left has been sprucing about social welfare, health & other services so graciously introduced by Labor & much hailed by the unproductive left. Yet, these services which were free anyway before all the social hooha you now call unwarranted for those who paid up front ? Why do you only refer to old age pensioners as a welfare drain & not the thousands of unproductive hangers-on who reside here & receive more than genuine pensioners could ever hope for ? How many old age pensioners can you point out who are provided with free housing ?

As for "services which were free anyway", no never free, only for YOU, it costs us taxpayers $100 billion to support your snout in the Aged Welfare trough, hardly free!

BTW; This site is now totally boring with mostly a few red necked old farts posting comment.

We helped put towards your Taxpayer funded Super way more than you ever could to our Pension ! As for racist, don't worry you're the head honcho in that field, none of us have any desire to challenge you for that crown !
Did the Maoris have enough of you again just after few days ?

Hi Indy,

No, I was very well received by Maori people, staying with them, sharing kai (food) etc. I'm very close with many, mostly relatives. As for your; "As for racist, don't worry you're the head honcho in that field, none of us have any desire to challenge you for that crown !" Unlike YOU, I don't call people of colour, "CONCRETE JUNGLE BUNNIES", hard not to view that as racist, would you not agree?

A cop out from YOU; "When did Islamists become a race ?" That gives YOU carte blanche to stigmatise and vilify ALL Muslims, after all they are not a race, so YOU can't be a racist, just a low life redneck. Is there a difference?

Paul1405,
Neither did I ! Your lying is getting tiresome, get a life, spend time outside enclaves for a change ! Also, don't conveniently forget to comment on the other post before the thread closes. It'd be interesting how you worm your way out of a sensible comment.

Hi Indy,

If YOU want to revise history, and hide your racism, well and good, but the facts are there for all to see.

As for, "Also, don't conveniently forget to comment on the other post before the thread closes." There was a question from YOU about free housing. No one gets free housing, other than those people in jail. Many aged welfare folks receive subsidised housing through state governments. I assume YOU are one such "Houso" getting subsidised again by us taxpayers!

Hows this for a suggestion to reduce demand and increase productivity. For every migrant Australia takes in, we export two old aged welfare fellas in their place, in that way the population is reduced by 2.7 million useless people, and we get 1.35 million productive workers at the same time. Bon voyage Indy, have a nice (one way) trip to China or India, even better to Gaza! Where YOU could be gainfully employed doing some minor repairs to the joint, after the saturation bombing by the Zionists!

Paul1405,
You're simply a saturation indoctrinated hate filled sad case of reaching new lows ! You have a problem alright ! Try to go through the day without blaming others for your shortcomings ! You'll find there is a different world out there even for people with a chip on their shoulder !

Hi Indy,

Some time back on this forum, when I informed YOU that I had Aboriginal heritage, YOU shortly after came back with the quip that I was a "Concrete Jungle Bunny". I took that to be a racist slur by YOU, directed at me. Do YOU deny that?

A concrete jungle bunny, combines a derogatory racial slur (combining "jungle" and "bunny") with the term concrete jungle (a crowded, modern city), directed towards people of colour, particularly African Americans living in large urban centres.

Paul1405,
I deny that ! You are trying to make it an ethnicity issue when I referred to city people (members of the human race) in rabbit warren like proximity of living. Show me where this was directed at so-called coloured people
