Your comment about children being handed over to Big Brother, reminded me of a slogan in Bella d'Abrera's book ‘Mindless’: “We want your children”.

The book is a good read, detailing the shameless brain washing of children in public schools (and in private ones having to adhere to certain parts of the far Left education curriculum) - particularly in the English speaking West, including Australia.

Quadrant has a new book coming out on the multiculturalism.

Yes we're very proud of having a diverse mix of cultures here in Australia.
We love cultures, all except one that is.
We just can't tolerate Australian culture.
That's a big no-no and it has to go.

You have to love all the foreign people and all their unique identities.

This ideology destroys every single culture where it's preached while presenting itself as embracing all cultures..

Culture is dynamic and not static, Australian culture is no different, it is influenced by many different factors, newly established social norms, globalisation, technical developments and the influence from other foreign cultures. There can't be a date at witch the day of culture is arbitrarily set, some might like to choose 1st January 1901 as the day Australian culture was arbitrated, and nothing shall change from that date forth. A persons attitudes, beliefs, practices, etc which form their culture of today are not the same as those of their parents, grandparents, of yesteryear or their children of tomorrow. Like it or not Australian culture will be forever influenced by the outside world, that is an inescapable fact.

I was just in one of those silly moods where I felt like poking fun at the stupidity of it all.

Liberal Democracy is what brought us to this stage. For society to work in a fair system which Democracy is not, it's imperative that the Law is the same for everyone capable in the country citizen, resident & visitor ! No exception ! Although presented by control freaks as a fine model of Government, Democracy has proven to allow for too many loopholes i.e. corruption hence the mess within the particularly plagues Western societies ! Not trying to sound too religious however, reading the Ten Commandments vs what's said & is portrayed by Islam & watching the doings of societies from both outfits only offers the option to adhere to the TC's !
People must learn to accept that we are in actual fact not all equal physically & mentally & no amount of idealist pushing will change that. The Law accommodates that framework but too many incompetent or corrupt within that system fail it ! A Nation Service would make integrity play a much more prominent part in our future !
