Of course Australia must be vigilant when it comes to terrorism, and the possibility of international bad actors operating in Australia, using local proxies. The bigger problem, and the more deadly problem, is international crime syndicates exporting illicit drugs into Australia, literally by the tons. The illicit drug trade is a far grater problem than imported terrorism, but that's not to say we should disregard the threat posed by political terrorism.

The immediate gang problem we have in Brisbane is the nightly home invasions taking place. Less than a week ago there was a news report of a teenage crime gang involved in six such incidents in the one night. Now that's nightly terrorism! You might live in a backwater where drugs and violent crime are not a problem, but for most Australians its getting out of hand.

What suggestions do yo have to offer to curb this problem ? My suggestion is prevention rather than cure ! Non Military National Gap Year Service would show instant Improvement in mentality ! Take them off the streets & make them perform menial tasks is a proven tactic.
