Are people who send money from Australia to relatives overseas required to pay tax on such transactions ? I was told a number years ago that one woman from an Asian Country is sending large sums at times reaching as high as $40,000 several times a year. I found it rather exaggerated until the woman actually hinted that she's actually making enough to do so.
Only the other day I stood behind a woman at the ATM as she shoved several thick bundles of $50 & $20 Notes into the machine. She offered us who waited our turn to use the machine & after we were done she continued shoving cash into it.
I just thought of how much is going out of the Australian economy like this every month or year !

Under a ONE NATION government Non-citizens would be forced to sell property owned within 2 years, failure to do so would result in 10 years imprisonment. This kind of draconian rubbish is what ONE NATION is capable of.
