In an attempt to out do One Nation with hard right policies on immigration, Angus Taylor has pushed the Coalition to the extreme by blaming immigrants for all the negatives that Australia is facing, from crime to housing its all the fault of the millions of foreigners flooding the country, so Taylor would have us believe.

In his budget reply, Taylor made a desperate attempt to chase votes with dog whistling, while trying to instil fear and division within Australian society to stem the massive haemorrhaging of votes the Coalition is suffering to the hard right One Nation party. Hopefully the Australian public will see through all the lies and deceptions and abandon any possible future political flirtation with hard right extremism, be it from One Nation or the Coalition.

The lies about immigration are all told by Albanese, who says he is going to reduce it, but increases it instead.

The next lie is that Taylor is “hard right. He is as wet as a boiled turnip, and about as self-aware as that vegetable. That mass immigration is not the cause of the housing crisis is another lie.

The next lie is that crime is not rife in certain immigration groups. And, immigration has recently seen 15 Jews murdered on a beach, and a massive increase in antisemitism. The last such atrocity was carried out in 1915 at Broken Hill by people of the same religious flavour. There are more and more of them here now, with more and more terrorism coming, as it has wherever in the West these immigrants have been allowed in.

Fear and division? That is entirely the province of Anthony Albanese's inappropriate immigration and multicultural madness. He swore to change Australia, and that is what he has done, and continues to do. Albanese is a big-time divider of society for his own egregious aim to change Australia for ever. The man is a disgrace and a cause of embarrassment globally.

Anyone who calls the wet Liberal Party and One Nation “hard right” is an ignorant dipstick, and also a disgrace.

While I wouldn't normally respond to this bloke, his post is outrageous, and well beyond the "debates" some of you like to indulge yourselves with.

The issue isn't should we take these welfare payments off non-citizens.

The issue is why non-citizens got those welfare payments in the first place.

I am a migrant myself, and am a supporter of Australia’s historic immigration and multicultural policies, but I do think things have gotten out of balance since Covid. In the five years to September 2025 (the latest data) Australia’s population increased by more than 2 million while the housing stock increased by 626,000. We average 2.4 people per dwelling, so the growth in housing stock would accommodate about 1.5 million people at average rates. Anything above that will put pressure on house prices and/or rents. This is not to "blame" migrants themselves for poor housing affordability, but to blame policymakers for not ensuring that migration levels are kept at levels we can comfortably absorb.

Hi Trumpster,

"The issue is why non-citizens got those welfare payments in the first place." Maybe because they pay taxes and contribute to the economy like many citizens do. Also, there are strict restrictions on non-citizens receiving welfare.

No one would argue against a controlled immigration policy. This by Taylor is an attempt to out One Nation, One Nation as the Noalition continues haemorrhaging votes to the hard right racists party.

See Dangerous Donald has a new bestest friend Xi Jinping, a love match made in heaven. And Donald has invited his new bestest friend over to his house in September, they can eat pizza and play twister together. Do you think he'll take Xieky to the island, for a bit of slap and tickle?

Bad news for some, the Neo-Nazi outfit 'White Australia' has been banned as a prohibited hate group, what will the lads do on a Wednesday night, now there's no more meetings at the pub.

Burke's ban of clowns playing Nazis is as pathetic as the so-called Nazis themselves.

The few Nazis in Australia are not worth worrying about. The biggest threat to Jews comes from the convergence of radical Islam and Marxism.

The two groups are not usually pals. But antisemitism brings them together.

The ‘alphabetics’, on the nose to Islamists, who usually kill sexual deviants, also share the same rhetoric against Jews. In the West, Islamists turn a blind eye to queers because they want their support against Jews.

As for who and what gets banned by the Albanese Labor government, the budget is seen as a ban on investment and startup businesses.

Australian entrepreneurs and business leaders have said that Albanese
Labor’s brutal, economic-illiterate (or deliberately destructive) budget will see more investments and businesses going offshore: America is recommended.

Apart from being a tax on low income earners and young people, Labor’s CGT change will see aspiring young business people (and people trying to buy a house) taxed at a minimum of 30%.

Noted economist and businesses editor, Ross Greenwood, says the budget has “worsened Australia's lacklustre settings” compared with similar countries.

Business people should head for Singapore or America, he says.

The CGT rate in Singapore is zero, and only 15% in America if you earn between $US 48,000 and $US 600,000.

In the UK it's 18%-24%, and in China a flat 20%.

Australians should ‘ban’ the Albanese Labor Party.

Taylor has pinched One Nation's immigration policy. His proposal to cut immigration to 130,000 per year has been on ON's books for years.

The tying of immigration to the number of houses built, seems to be his own nutty idea though. Immigration should be about Australia's NEED for immigrants, when and if that need arises. At the present time, there are plenty of lazy Australians needing to be kicked off the dole and put to work before we import iffy people from the Third World.

Nobody is accusing anyone of doing anything under hand on policy-pinching - yet. But there is an investigation into a “data breach” that exposed ON policy documents in April of this year, including the immigration policy. Currently the word “accidentally” is being applied to the exposure, which still doesn't mean they are not being used by other players.

The Neo-Nazi's are trying to register a political party, the White Australia Party. Can we expect a broad anti-Labor coalition in the future consisting of the Liberal Party, Nationals, One Nation and the White Australia Party? Could there be a future government under Prime Minister Hanson, with Thomas Sewell as Minister For Propaganda, we don't know what to expect. Remember when you preference One Nation its likely your vote ends up in the same pile as the votes on Neo-Nazi's, I'm sure they don't preference Labor or The Greens.

Immigration was good for Australia when immigrants who were looking for a new life were encouraged to come here.
When immigrants were literally imported for votes for the deranged Left, the wheels started falling off & now things are skidding to a stop.

Hi AC,

Correction, in a future Coalition government led by Hanson, Thomas Sewell would make a perfect Minister for Immigration.

The only party that has been willing to call out Zionist genocide in the Middle East is The Greens. Don't be surprised about any coalition, all those guys seek power, and will sell their grandmothers to get it.

Did you catch the way Trump was sucking up to the Chinese? Particularly to his new Bestist Buddy Xi Jinping. Trump invited Jinping over to his house in September, do you think he also invited him to the "Island". Xi Jinping don't strike me as a bloke being into that kind of stuff, but you never know. I think Vlad would take up the invite quick smart if he got one.

The separation of church and state is a widely held belief in Australia. Just as Americans would not vote for a Catholic president, John F Kennedy the 35th President being the first elected after nearly 200 years of male Protestants in the White House. There was concern in America that Kennedy would be controlled by the Papists in Rome. The Pope didn't get a chance, a fellow American shot Kennedy instead.

As for Australia, the Liberal Party was founded as a "Protestant" party, with strong cultural and demographic alignment with mainstream Protestantism, not officially, but Catholics were viewed with suspicion. So much for Howard's "Broad Church", only if you were a mainstream protestant. The Labor Party was the party of Catholics, mainly Irish Catholics, until the DLP split in the 1950's, off went many of the Catholics, one reason for the split was the Communists in the ALP were seen as atheists. In 1954 Labor Leader H.V. Evatt publicly denounced the Catholic Labor Social Studies Movement, accusing them of subverting the party on religious grounds

Armchair Critic,
I don't actually "support" any of them as I don't know what's really going on. All I have to go by is what biased Media & other organisations let me know. So, how can I & millions of others come to an informed opinion ?
You & Paul1405 are too biased for any of us here to help us come to a realistic conclusion.
The selective atrocities & suffering on TV are no benchmark that is the idiocy of the Arab/Zionist movement.
It's literally just as idiotic as the Left/Right although the harsh reality is that this stupidity will take generations to solve but I won't hold my breath. When University education became a Right rather than a result of merit, too many pseudo intellectuals & hopelessly overqualified yet practically super under qualified were accepted into decision making circles & authority. The rest as they say is history !

Its funny. Those who can't answer the question as to why we pay welfare to non-citizens and. more importantly, why we should continue to do so try to deflect by:

* claiming the policy is a One Nation policy and therefore (obviously) wrong

* rapidly trying to turn the issue into a racist claim as though wanting to keep welfare payments just for citizens (irrespective of race) and not paying it to non-citizens (irrespective of race) is racist.

Still these people have a party to support so logic is immaterial.

If I thought for a second that Paul had the slightest interest in facts or the truth, I'd mention that Trump has never visited the island of which he speaks unlike many of the people he, Paul, admires.

But we all know Paul hasn't the slightest interest in the facts let alone the truth, so I won't bother pointing out that Trump has never visited the island of which he speaks.

"Liberal Senator Andrew McLachlan has condemned his party's stance on permanent migrants. McLachlan said it was unfair to deny social welfare payments to permanent residents who were taxpayers contributing to the Australian economy."

Either they're taxpayers or welfare recipients.
They can't be both at the same time.

What am I missing here?
Is the government so desperate that it's paying people to walk foreign streets and beg people to come here?
Importing people with no way to support themselves?

Lets import someone from Mogadishu, never earned more than $10 a day before in his life unless he did crime, you going import them here and pay them $50 a day to do nothing?

Import 1 worker, get 3 wives and 16 kids as an added bonus.
wtat sort of policy is this, good for the census I guess.

Sounds like the 'Pull your asscheeks apart a little wider' plan.
Privatise the profits and socialise the costs.

Pfft... Well let the LNP tear itself apart some more then, like I even care.
This bloke is probably a good part of the reason why.
Meh.

Hi Trumpster,

"If they're earning enough to pay taxes then they don't need welfare"

Is that so, people on the Aged Pension or Sickness Benefits, Australian citizens that is, who previously paid income tax should be kicked off social security, as they once paid taxes. There are already conditions in place concerning permanent residents and welfare. These people pay the same taxes as everyone else, but you want to keep their contributions for Australian citizens only. Are you being racists, have you signed up with the White Australia Party, they need 1500 and $500 to get registered with the AEC, you would make an outstanding member.

Paul,

It seems the logic of this issue is going way over your head.

1. You're the only one talking about race here. I specifically said that citizens should be eligible for welfare IRRESPECTIVE of race and non-citizens shouldn't get welfare IRRESPECTIVE of race. But since all your other attempts to run cover for the government's policies don't stack up, you try to fall back on the old stand-by of just yelling 'racist' in the belief that trumps all logical argument. Hint: it doesn't and just shows that the person yelling 'racist' can't put two logic thoughts together.

2. "Is that so, people on the Aged Pension or Sickness Benefits, Australian citizens that is, who previously paid income tax should be kicked off social security, as they once paid taxes.:
That's not even close to what I said. Not in the same ball-park, not in the same postcode, not even in the same hemisphere. But again, since all your other attempts at trying to justify the unjustifiable have fallen flat, completely misrepresenting facts is your only fall back.

Now, for those with two brain cells to rub together:
We are importing people on the basis that we need them to improve our national well-being and economic performance. Quite how it is helping our national well-being by importing people and then paying them welfare because they're not working or not working enough, is something that only governments and their fly-monkeys (looking at you Paul) will fall for.

Hi Trumpster,

I'm glad to hear you're not being racists about all this citizen and non-citizen nonsense. I would hate to think you or anyone else would vote One Nation simply based on racism. Good Stuff!

Try this and tell me what you would do;

A native of Ethiopia migrates to Australia aged 27, gets a job pays taxes, pays GST etc for the next 40 years, just like the good citizens do, but the Ethiopian never took out citizenship, remaining a non-citizen/permanent resident. At age 67 he applies for the Aged Pension, are you going to grant it to him? Yes/No.

On the other hand we have a migrant from the mother country, Britain, Celtic Anglo-Saxon of course, is there any other kind. This chap also aged 27 quickly takes citizenship, but unfortunately can't work and pay taxes for the next 40 years because of his "Mediterranean Back" complaint. He to on reaching the age of 67 applies for the Aged Pension, are you going to grant it to him? Yes/No

"1. You're the only one talking about race here. I specifically said that citizens should be eligible for welfare IRRESPECTIVE of race and non-citizens shouldn't get welfare IRRESPECTIVE of race. It's an interesting form of discourse we've all acquiesced to, isn't it?
All Paul had to do was say 'racist' and look at him, struggling helplessly and flopping around in quicksand, unable to get out.
Like, it really doesn't matter whether what he said was valid or not, now he's the one on the defence.

In the bigger picture, how easily we are we divide against each other.
How far are we going to get as a nation if we carry on like this, seriously?

These idiot leaders we have claim 'unity', but the people have neutered themselves so badly with political correctness that even grown adults can't even have a valid discussion.

Well I think your argument about welfare for non-immigrants is valid mhaze.
But I'm happy for Paul to keep calling you racist instead.
You rarely ever admit when the other person in a discussion has a valid argument, and you too make use of the same kinds of phrases when it suits you, right?

Instead of acknowledging valid criticisms of DJT you'll jump on the tired old Trump Derangement Syndrome, right?
Which is an attempt to nullify the validity of any argument and justify attacking (to silence) the person making said argument.

When you say, 'You know what, this form of discourse is pointless and it sucks' and mean it by stop behaving the same way, then maybe I'll care because until we ALL wake up, valid discussions will continue to go nowhere.

Hi Paul

Is the argument about what treatment is fairer between the Ethiopian and British migrants in this example;

Perhaps the Ethiopian is more deserving, yet not entitled.
But why is he applying for a benefit if he never bothered to apply for citizenship?

- Or should the argument also or instead be about what is fair for the Australian born worker who doesn't give a rats backside about any migrants at all and takes umbrage at having to donate even a single dollar to some foreigner that comes here expecting a welfare payment?

What if some migrant showed up 2 weeks before retirement age, works for 2 weeks and then expects the age pension?

Clearly there needs to be some rules and understandings that make it fair for everyone?

What is it about the word "Citizen" that is so difficult to comprehend. Desire the benefits that are granted via taxpayers ? Become a citizen & pay tax ! If the old country means so much to you then head back there for retirement ! A naturalised Australian must first apply for a portion of eligible Pension from the old country before they receive the Australian Pension.
Where most folk get cranky & rightly so is, when migrants don't enter the Work force & then still demand the Pension without ever contributing to the coffers. There are however, also many Australians who pay next to no Tax & then apply for & receive the Pension. The only way for equality is a Flat tax. I wonder what the returned IS Brides will be required to do for a living here after not having contributed anything for many years ?

Hi AC,

What's your take on this; and also could you give me your thoughts on Trump's and Putin's trips to China, and how do you think the Chinese are playing their cards;

When it comes to paying government "welfare" to foreigners, non-residents, non citizens. Billions of dollars of taxpayer money is paid to foreign companies (just one example) like Chevron Corporation in the form of government subsidies. Chevron is largely exempt from the Petroleum Resource Rent Tax and receives royalty hand backs as indirect fossil fuel subsidies. The multi-national is owned by foreign individuals, investment funds, and foreign financial institutions. Chevron as a foreign owned, foreign muti-national does pay reduced tax in Australia, BUT heavy Australian taxpayer "welfare" is doled out to the company, allowing Chevron to pay bloated dividends with Australian taxpayer money to foreigners like Warren Buffett. WHY ARE WE PAYING WELFARE TO FOREIGN NON-RESIDENT, NON-CITIZEN BILLIONAIRES IN THIS WAY?

ttbn,
Are people who send money from Australia to relatives overseas required to pay tax on such transactions ? I was told a number years ago that one woman from an Asian Country is sending large sums at times reaching as high as $40,000 several times a year. I found it rather exaggerated until the woman actually hinted that she's actually making enough to do so.
Only the other day I stood behind a woman at the ATM as she shoved several thick bundles of $50 & $20 Notes into the machine. She offered us who waited our turn to use the machine & after we were done she continued shoving cash into it.
I just thought of how much is going out of the Australian economy like this every month or year !

In what can be best described as 'Nuremberg Laws' (the laws that the Nazi's used to force the Jews to sell their property to Aryan citizens) Barnaby Joyce from ONE NATION has said that on assuming government ONE NATION would make it illegal for non-citizens to own property in Australia, regardless of how long they have lived here as permanent residents. Under a ONE NATION government Non-citizens would be forced to sell property owned within 2 years, failure to do so would result in 10 years imprisonment. This kind of draconian rubbish is what ONE NATION is capable of.

"Barnaby Joyce told Sky News on Thursday that his party wanted to force permanent residents to sell their homes"

On Friday party leader Hanson tried to backtrack with a wishy-washy denial saying "One Nation’s policy would allow permanent residents to own homes" This was followed by a ONE NATION spokesman named Bell telling 2GB interviewer Mark Levy that ONE NATION had an excellent home ownership policy, but he couldn't say what it was.

"Andrew Bolt, who interviewed Joyce on Thursday night, later told viewers the bungle demonstrated Pauline Hanson’s party was “literally making up policy as it goes along”.

If Australia wants chaos in government then vote in the fools from ONE NATION.
