Australia turns back on ally

The Japanese ambassador to Australia has criticised Australia for not standing up to China internationally.

Our gutless Labor government has not shown any interest in our ally's (Japan) stand on Taiwan, or the fact that some mad Chinaman talked about cutting off the Japanese Prime Minister's “dirty neck”. More sanctions have been put on Japan by China for being a democratic country with a concern for the Communist Chinese threat to another democratic country, Taiwan.

Japan is our most important ally in Asia.

Australia's dependence on China for just about everything has turned the government into gutless wonders; with the Coalition not much better, since Morrison called out the Communists on Covid.

China now knows that they have Australia by the balls.

More CCP showing off its navy in the Philippine Sea (we had to find out from New Zealand). How long before they are back again in our waters, demonstrating their might and the obvious fact that we are helpless militarily and politically?

When a country's politicians are as bad as Australia's are, democracy gives the people the ability to sack them. But voters don't seem to be interested in doing that, so things are going to get worse. Communist China will get its way in the region. They have done more than enough to convince us of it, but most people haven't been listening. They will only appreciate democracy when it has been taken from them.

I'm really getting sick and tired of the 14 year old Grade 9 girl antics.
"The Japanese ambassador to Australia has criticised Australia for not standing up to China internationally."
- You know what I'm hearing here?
Whinge, cry, tantrum, if you're China's friend then you're not our friend.

The Japanese (U.S. chihuahua) PM shouldn't have started the job by starting shite with China saying Japan would take part in defending Taiwan.
Tourism accounts for some 15% of the Japanese economy and straight away 500,000 Chinese tourists cancelled their flights and holidays to Japan. The Chinese PM did the equivalent of crapping her pants, because that was the end result.

The answer to the Taiwan issue, is 'stay the hell out of it'.
That it's an issue between China and Taiwan, and it doesn't need further foreign interference, unless you want Taiwan becoming the next Ukraine, or us for that matter too.

The U.S. recognises the One China policy but also supports democracy and an independent Taiwan, that works for the West producing semiconductors and other things.

If there is a hotspot that could become a flashpoint for a war in the Pacific, then it's Taiwan.

'Australia's dependence on China for just about everything"
- Someone obviously doesn't know where their best interests lie.

"When a country's politicians are as bad as Australia's are, democracy gives the people the ability to sack them."
- Does democracy give me the ability to pronounce no confidence in any of them and demand the entire political class and head bureaucrats be purged entirely and we start again with all new people and fresh thinking?

Or do I have to keep choosing the shite sandwich?

I mean seriously what sort of an outcome do you expect when the two main parties take turns at playing dumb and dumber?
This week Labor is 'Dumb' and LNP is 'Dumber'
Maybe next wekk they'll switch places like 2 retards playing musical chairs, and LNP will play the part of 'Dumb' and Labor will play the part of 'Dumber'.
And you wonder why the Chinese are winning?
Well they're not really, no more so than democracy has reached it's best-before date and is merely a race to the bottom with sellout Western leaders that don't even have their constituents best interests in the first place.

Taiwan is now indefensible.
This is the terrible truth.
It won't be long before the robotic soldiers of China and North Korea raid the place, destroy, murder, loot, rape and throw the remaining Taiwanese people in concentration/re-education camps like China does to the Uighurs and North Korea to all its people.

Certainly do not expect the exhausted old bear who saved the world in world-wars I and II to come and help again - they are old, sick, crumpled and divided.

We, Japan and other good people in the region and the world, should now help the poor Taiwanese people evacuate peacefully and orderly while they can and take as many of their possessions with them before the communist regime storms in.

We should welcome our brothers and sisters from Taiwan and thank the almighty God that it was not us.

Armchair Critic,
I agree with dumb & dumber however, why not bring One Nation into this as they're the ones with the more sane views & I'm certain once they get to the stage to form policies they'll match that also !
We must not forget that the Uni party supporters are literally all Uni indoctrinated stoned dreamers whereas One Nation is made up of real everyday people with sober views.

Pauline's past her best before date I think.
If she was to pull off some big upset, it would've happened by now.
But that doesn't mean there isn't some other young inspired fiery redhead girl who will one day rise to take Pauline's place.
