I note that more regular political commentators are using the word 'communist' when referring to the Albanese government. He certainly seems to be trying to get us out of the Western alliance.

No, we don't have to kowtow (nothing to do with cows) to America. Kowtowing comes from the ancient Chinese form of obeisance of bowing and touching the forehead on the ground or floor.

What the government has to do, as all governments in the past, including Labor governments, have always done, is realise that our defence is reliant almost entirely on the United States of America. We simply cannot defend ourselves. That's why Australia has always participated with the US in minor wars (in a small way) not directly threatening Australia. We really need America much more than America needs us.

And, the China-loving Albanese seems to be too stupid to realise that. Or, perhaps he prefers communism to democracy. He has certainly had more to do with the Chinese dictator than he has with the leader of the free world.

As for vaccination against tuberculosis, there is no regular vaccination against it in Australia, because it virtually disappeared in the 1950s. It still occurs in Third World countries - from where the bulk of our immigrants come - and while all of them are supposed to be screened, it is clear that they are not.
