So there is no way that anyone will find out whether the infected person was a long-time Australian or an immigrant who, along with who knows how many others, have brought us a problem that we haven't had in this country for 55 years.

I know it's monotonous, but, import the Third World, become the Third World. Or, at least employ immigration officials who know what they are doing. There's no point in expecting politicians to do anything.

As for vaccination against tuberculosis, there is no regular vaccination against it in Australia, because it virtually disappeared in the 1950s. It still occurs in Third World countries - from where the bulk of our immigrants come - and while all of them are supposed to be screened, it is clear that they are not.

The latest news on uncontrolled immigration and lack of enforcement by the Immigration Minister Tony Burke is that there are 100,000 people who have had their ‘asylum’ applications rejected - more than once in many cases - roaming around in Australia. While there might be cases for abortion, barbaric sex-selective baby killing is not one of them.

The Family First website doesn't name the “certain communities”, but AI says that studies suggest that these abortions occur in immigrant communities within which there is a strong preference for sons. The “such as” immigrants are named: Chinese and Indian. In 2019, members of the Indian community told the ABC that “ some Indian women are having abortions because their babies are female”

“This practice appears to be a continuation of cultural son preferences found in some countries, where such practices have historically resulted in imbalanced sex ratios”.

There was one of those ‘enquiries’ here into the matter in 2020, but it seems to have died, as those things usually do.

Obviously, the practice is illegal in Australia, the only exception being in a case where selection may be necessary to prevent the transmission of a serious genetic condition.

Australia has certainly become a grubby place, thanks to mass immigration of inappropriate people and multiculturalism.
