A few further thoughts:
Our individual race is of no consequence here.
And the fact is that we all have ancestors going back 60,000 years.
And if we go back far enough in the tree of life, we all had the same ancestors.
We need to keep that in mind.
In any case, my own distant ancestors seemingly moved around.
They were not isolated on the island we now call Australia.
Those who were isolated here did a good job of surviving.
But they should not expect any extra privilege because of that historical forced isolation.
As in the same way those whose ancestors were obliged to move around should not expect any extra privilege because of that fact.
All of us here are Australian, and we must collectively just get on with living harmoniously.

Indy,

I expect your rampant racism to show through, it does every time YOU bring up the subject of "black people". I am proud of my ancestors, I'm not ashamed of them like you are. When I made it clear to YOU that one of my maternal great grandfathers was the son of a Aboriginal mother, and European father, (I don't identify as Aboriginal in any way) you saw fit to refer to me as a CONCRETE JUNGLE BUNNY as a derogatory racists name call. I'm open about who my ancestors were, unlike YOU who is ashamed of your parentage and hide what they were. YOU came to Australia as an economic refugee, no doubt with other relatives who were fleeing the advancing Russians in WWII, because of their Nazi collaboration.
p/s You must have crawled out of some real bombed out sh!thole to come to Australia. You're too ashamed to even name the joint!

IF,

"But they should not expect any extra privilege" no one is asking for exrra privilege, only equality of life. Read the inequality in the Closing The Gap Report, that's all

We all have the same opportunities.
For example, we have access to education and medical assistance.
I have never been refused either.
I don't moan and groan that I have been unfairly disadvantaged.
I make use of opportunities.
I get out there and engage constructively.
I acknowledge our democratic government.
I let it make decisions.
But keep an eye on it.
I see trees as trees, sand as sand, and rocks as rocks.
There is nothing special about any of them.
They are the same everywhere.
There is truth, and there is fiction.
It seems to me that there is far too much fiction in play.
It really is time to live by truthful principles.
An understanding of life based on fictional principles won't work.

IF,

In an ideal world, yes we would all have equal opportunity, equal access to services and resources, but we don't live in an ideal world.

In an ideal world merit would lead & equality would be exactly what it says ! Equal merit, equal reward, equal conditions. As all life is not equal it is foolish in the extreme to force inequality to be accepted as equal.
Try tell Academics they're equal to village idiots & all would burr up yet many really don't come across as unequal.
Ask an ignorant villager if he thinks he's equal to highly trained medical or technical person & hell'll answer No without hesitation.

With your superiority complex I wouldn't expect you to consider others to be of your equal. You confuse difference with equality, believing you are superior because of your differences. A racists sees himself as superior to others, in the way you believe you are superior to non Europeans
