I have absolutely no objection to student protests against Israel on campus, so long as they comply with the law and the university’s rules e.g. on not disrupting the everyday business of education. But there is widespread evidence of threats and intimidation directed at Jewish students and staff, discrimination against Jewish academics, and active support for terrorism on campuses. These are usually against the university’s policies, but in many cases universities have failed to implement those policies – most notably your alma mater.
