A couple of NSW nurses have threatened to kill Jews. Health Minister Mark Butler is appalled. That's something. Ah, hang on: he said the video was appalling, not the two people doing the threatening.

Butler refers to Jews as a “particular group”. Can't bring himself to say Jews, anymore than can say that the nurses making the threat were Muslims.

What a pissant.

Another Labor MP who is involved in victim blaming when the victims are Jews is Maria Vamvakinou, who said, “I stand here today in the wake of continuing disruption, tension and tension following the terrible events of October 7 2023 and the subsequent Israeli assault on Gaza and Lebanon”.

So, Israel is the aggressor for reacting to a terror attack!

She is worried about “challenges to multiculturalism”. The crazy lady also says it's “naive” to expect migrants not to bring their hatreds and grievances with them to Australia. It is “inevitable” that they will.

Multiculturalism in Australia has failed - as it has everywhere else. Too many immigrants have brought their prejudices and hatreds with them. Some of them preach the hate, and celebrate the killing of Jews.

We now have enclaves of such people. How long before there will be no-go areas like those in the UK and Europe.

Not only has assimilation not occurred naturally, as it used to be, it has been actively rejected. There are areas now where no English is spoken. All the benefits and handouts are grabbed, but Australian culture is also rejected and hated.

Our arrogant, self-serving political class - those who foisted this filth on us without any consultation with us - just bury their heads deeper into the sand, too cowardly to admit that they were wrong.

You have put your case nicely.

Still, there are more cultures that accept Jews and in fact do not hate anyone, than those who do.

OK, so there is a specific issue with a specific culture - then address it, but it gives you no valid excuse to assert superiority of your own particular culture.

Nobody owes you assimilation (yes, that includes orthodox Jews, whose willingness to assimilate is no bigger than Muslims' - who no matter what, even if you threaten them with violence, you won't find them drinking beer at the pub or watching the horse-races on the Sabbath) and so long as others are peaceful and do not hurt you, you have no real case against them and if you try to assimilate them, then it is you who are the aggressor.

Benefits and handouts? Well who asked you to give? You have only your "representatives" to blame for it.

The Prime Minister stood in the parliament yesterday and unequivocally and categorically condemned the two individuals for their actions, AND RIGHTLY SO! You are simply trying to score political points from what is a totally disgusting war, what other kind is there! Regarding two NSW hospital workers who appeared
in a social media video appearing to threaten to
refuse to treat and kill Israeli patients have
been identified as nurses at a Sydney hspital and
have been "stood down immediately," the state's
health minister has said.

The video has attracted widespread political
condemnation with the Prime Minister quickly
labelling the footage "sickening and disgusting".

The video was published by an Israeli content creator
depicting an online conversation he had with 2 people
in a NSW hospital.

Max Veifer uses a video chat platform which allows users
to have random video chats with other users around the
world, to ask the people he speaks to about Israel.

When Veifer identified himself as an Israeli the male
nurses said:

"I'm going to be really honest with you. I'm so upset
you're Israeli. Eventually you're going to get killed
and go to Johannam (hell)".

Max Veifer then asks the man and a woman sitting next to
him what they would do if an Israeli was to come into the
hospital? The woman responds:

"I won't treat them. I will kill them".

Both have now been stood down and the matter is under
investigation. A lawyer representing the male nurse said his
client now understand the concerns that his words have caused.
The lawyer sais that his client has never done anything like
this before. He's never been in any trouble with the police.
He has sincerely apologised both to Max Veifer and to the broader
Jewish community. He's apparently trying to make amends.

Police have found that there was no evidence regarding any
bad treatment of Israeli patients at the hospital.

The biased behaviour of a few isolated cases - should not
cast a shadow on the rich diverse and cohesive society that
we are. Of course acts like these should be criticised most
severely. And they have rightly been. We
should ensure that they don't happen again. But at least
one of the nurses has hopefully learned their
lesson from all of this.

I would just like to add that the story of our country
began in the distant past with our Indigenous people.
It grew with the establishment of British institutions
and today continues with people from lands far and wide.

Incidents like these cause concern. However we should
remember that the vast majority of modern mainstream
Christians, Jews, Muslims, or Hindus, are not "card-carrying"
fundamentalists. They belong to a tiny minority.
Of whatever faith, a psychologist would be likely to declare
them of unsound mind.

You need to distinguish between me - a mere poster reviewing/reporting the actions of third parties - and those third parties and the actual topic.

You tell me that I have “no valid excuse to assert superiority of your own particular culture”. I have not done that. I have not done that. I am concerned about Australia and Australians, and the fact that, irrespective of the roots and culture of individuals there can be only ONE culture for a secure happy country.

Nobody owes ME assimilation? Nobody owes me anything; but immigrants do owe it to the country that they moved to from one they didn't like. The simplest answer to that one is: the country does not owe anyone the privilege of immigrating to Australia.

Please cut out the personal comments, and stick to the subject.
