This is confirmed by your absolute refusal to apply these made up definitions to all circumstances when doing so reaches conclusions you don't like. If you believed these confected definitions, then you'd apply them in all circumstances including pre-contact aboriginal society. But since that would then force you to agree that that society also had slavery, indeed a much worse form than colonial society, you rapidly run in the opposite direction.
