A female “bishop” of Lord knows what denomination holding up a sign saying that ‘We are all Muslims”; and another photo of grinners holding up another sign assuring us that Allah loves all LGBTQ. In the background another ‘revelation’ that Allah loves equality.

Really?

Muslims believe that God is so loving He recreated his
attribute of love as an instinct in us. Of course
fundamentalists and extremists disagree.

However:

The people in the photographs are not Muslims: they are fools who don't have a clue about Islam - the sort that gets tossed off tall buildings by SOME Muslims, with little or no protest from MOST Muslims who are too scared to object, and certainly cannot carry around silly signs in Muslim administrations.

Putting up as a “reference” an invitation to buy a blasphemous print of some idiot posing as a ‘gay Jesus’ makes you look like a real lunatic, Foxy. Thanks for the confirmation of your mentality.

We all know that stoking fear and the politics of division can
be brutally effective. But we as sane people really do need
to examine bonkers conspiracy theories adhered to by militant
acolytes untroubled by reality.

This should not be a contest between "us" and "them".
Instead we should try to help all citizens flourish otherwise
we risk damaging our democracy and country.

And because you're such a self-proclaimed advocate of free speech
and opinion - you should not question the mentality of others
who present views and opinions that are so obviously different
to your own.

This is after all a forum of social and political debate where
diverse views are supposed to be welcomed.

Foxy is off his/her rocker as usual. What has some moron depicting JC as gay have to do with the ignorant people demonstrating for people who would kill them because of the sexually predilections? The scumbag taking a selfy of himself and his friend wouldn't perform the same trick about Mohammed being bent.

Both the Koran and the Bible make it clear what Islam and Christianity think about sexual deviation; the difference being how the two different religions deal with it.

People have different values, but I don't understand the urge people like Foxy have to side with beliefs and behaviours that are totally alien to their own culture. They seem to prefer the alien.

It could be that they just have a condition that makes them contrary and disagreeable.
