Yes. I also question the integrity of a republican accepting the post of Governor General, the Monarch's representative, no matter how well they might do the job. It is gross hypocrisy in my view. And it's worth a lazy half million dollars to be GG.

Mrs. Bryce did a reasonable job, and she seemed to be quite a nice person; but, as one with republican leanings, she was a hypocrite.

However, my concern in this instance is, not Mr.Calma himself - he hasn't even been asked, and he might not want the job - but the blatant racism of people suggesting that he should have the job because of his race. And we are all aware of Albanese's racism and determination to change Australia with identity politics.

Why should our system change now?

We've been appointing and promoting government
reps based on race since our inception. Perhaps
it's the wrong race being promoted that some
object to. You betcha!
