The problem with these ignorant do-gooders is just that, ignorance ! If some idealist yuppies decide to camp in the bush for some time to "connect with nature" they're portrayed as some alternative life-stylers.
Yet the Aborigines who choose to live in the outback generate headlines of discrimination & words like plight are very fashionable !
General Australian non-indigenous society has a far greater percentage of "plight". No do-gooders give a hoot about unfashionable battlers who don't get anywhere near the support doing it tough.
I think apart from a much more sinister agenda, the big problem is people or rather hypocrites of every ethnicity making big money from the perpetual "plight' bleating.
A Gap Year National Service would very quickly do away with this deliberately created & perpetuated ignorance & our society would be much, much better than it is presently !

Indeed. The problem with a narcissist who is also stupid is that he doesn't know that he is a narcissist and stupid, and you can get more sense addressing a brick wall. There are definitely three of them on this site, one of whom is also a madwoman. The female of the species is always needy, plays the victim, manipulates, bullys, and usually is a 'mean girl'. The group as a whole, is self-absorbed; never at fault; exploitative; vain; sensitive to criticism, and very reactive.
