Does anyone remember what happened to Peter Costello's Future Fund ?
Anyhow, it's outright insulting for bureaudroids to pollute the air waves with waffle of economic complexity & waffle by economic experts how the economy should work etc etc. If they know how it "should" work why the Hell don't they follow their own advise ?
Paying themselves hundreds of thousands of Dollars for doing literally nothing but waffle on whilst telling the rest of us how "tough" things are.
The deputy Leader of the Greens the other hit the nail on the head when she was asked if she felt guilty for holding up construction of Public housing by not agreeing with the Govt. when she said that nothing is being held up because the Govt is not actually building Public Housing before 2024 so, nothing is being held up at this stage.

The future fund would have been blown long ago. The future for politicians is only three years.

As for our future, it might be looking up, with 35.5% enrolments in non-government schools- more than Albanese got in votes - as parents are slowly but surely waking up to what the Communist teacher unions are doing to their kids.

Foxy,

Albo unprompted threatened a DD. The problem with this is that Albo has now wedged himself between the gangreens and the coalition. The gangreen proposal of a rent freeze would be political suicide for labor and the tax and spend Labor proposal is against liberal values and the coalition is happy to let labor swing in the breeze.

Labor's rationale is that the gangreens would likely lose some seats and might change their minds. However, a DD would more likely favour the libs as the Teals in former conservative seats have shown themselves to be greener than labor, and this would screw up any chance of getting the increasingly unpopular voice referendum up.

If Albo takes this policy to the senate and it loses, unless he calls the DD he will appear weak and impotent
