I have just signed an online petition against Albanese's plan to censor, on social media, what he and other Socialists deem to be "misinformation".

During the course of that, I was made aware that the United Nations wants opinions concerning the LGBT censored; particularly those based on religious beliefs.

This report suggests that governments should enforce acceptable LGBT standards within religious contexts, and penalise "non-compliant" religious leaders and organisations.

Whenever Governments try to enforce thought control it stifles, thought and personal independence. They want everyone to be controlled and compliant. Their life belongs to the Government.

Yes sovereignty is important. Government of the people by the people for the people. But what is a people. Perhaps the US didn't envisage the scale of mass immigration and refugees in 1776. But there are many sorts of racism and bigotry. It's somewhat reductionist to accuse someone of racism because everyone is guilty- but people shouldn't feel guilty of protecting themselves and their own lives and cultures. In a sense the West is particularly vulnerable to guilt given the role of "sin" in Christianity either secular or religious cultures- perhaps this is not shared in Hebrew culture or other Abrahamic cultures. Communism according to Dostoevsky is nihilism seeking to destroy all culture in the name of freedom from "the man"- but communism isn't freedom as we've seen. Without "the man" there isn't organization, or nation, or culture, or food- and we all starve. This is the result of woke-ism and communism- death. The new age- human potential movement (EST and others) talked about killing the policeman in our heads reverting to nihilism.
