I'm certainly am prepared to cut him some slack on this one especially given what I got up to around that age when bad taste parties were all the rage.

However it is worth noting that the age of criminal responsibility in NSW is still 10, and that calls to take that to 14 are getting stronger.

"NSW must move urgently to raise age of criminal responsibility"

Perhaps the premier might like to reflect at what age the excuse of acting "young and foolish' no longer applies.

The Left is using this non-event to bellow that the NSW Liberal party is falling apart. It certainly is falling apart, but not because of what one of them did two decades ago.

It is falling apart because it is eating itself up from the inside. One of their scumbags used this bit of youthful stupidity against his own leader. The party is riddled with factions. With 'friends' like that, the Parrot doesn't need enemies.

The NSW Liberal Party was rooted the day it decided to put an aboriginal flag on the Sydney Harbour Bridge. If that isn't enough to do them in, there is the idiot Green Kean.

Nazi Dom, Liberal Party member at 21, well into conservative politics at 21, anti-communist at 21, dressing up in his Nazi uniform at 21, I suppose it saved on hiring a Coco the Clown outfit. At 40 Dom likes to lock up 10 year old's as criminals. All speaks volumes for the character of the bloke.

P/s Nazi Dom was content to keep it all a dark secret for 19 years as he progressed up the ladder of conservative politics. All apologetic when flushed out! What does that tell you?

p/p/s, for any of the aspiring Oberfuhrer's on the Forum, there must be a couple, Dom's got a very snappy, hardly worn, uniform going cheap on 'Marketplace'. Been hanging in his skeleton closet for 19 years.

My opinion, put Nazi Dom in the trash can of politics where he belongs.

BTW are there any pics of the Labor bloke in a Joe Stalin outfit? Should make for an interesting election!

The Liberals are falling apart because of in-Party jealousy & Labor is imploding due to lack of wisdom !

I have a great many thoughts about a great many things.
So expanding a little on what I said before....
He might be a shining example of perfect citizenship, or he might be all sorts of a ratbag.
Or something in between.
(politicians don't 'automatically' gravitate to the lower end of the scale do they?)
It is up to his electorate to decide.

But do we have the right to paint him black because of his youthful antics?
No we do not.
The principles we choose to apply here have a wider significance.
They shine a light on our ability to assess a situation in a realistic manner.
They shine a light on our ability to understand and accept imperfection.
They highlight our ability to judge someone by what they do now, not on long-past youthful over-exuberance.
I might not agree with his politics, but I don't want to see him ostracised for no good reason.

Hopefully, we won't put on (collective) blinkers, and become victims of the 'gossip mill'?
The gossip mill is past master at grinding the essence of any person in to meaningless powder.

Hi IF,

I agree. The Premier of NSW should be judged by his
performance in his current job today. Not for the costume he
wore to his 21st Birthday Party decades ago.
