By Chris Lewis, published 27/7/2009

Prime Minister Kevin Rudd's recent essay is mostly rhetoric intended to promote Labor’s election prospects.

That wave might be breaking in Qld if an enquiry into donations to politicians takes place. Watch the boys from Ipswich when they try to explain what the chinese are getting for all that money.

Fitzgerald only bought down a state government. Bligh's claims to launch an open enquiry might backfire all over Kevvy.

Come on! convince me this wasnt written with Bruce Haigh (OLO 31st July) over a few bottles of red!

Not a bad essay - pretty clever in some repsects - but I get the sense you are a bit miffed that Kevin might be cleverer still - the essay in a sense ( rudds ) was a form of propaganda - it's wat pollies do - I figured some where at some time you pontificated endlessly to undergraduates about the importance of leaders to control the agenda - there are too many scatter gun assertion to ctitique the whole damn thing all I can say is that I hope you feel better now - do they still use chalk in Universities?

Ahhh Sancho dear Sancho,

'defences of George W. Bush's mighty intellect. No joke. Keith reckons Bush is a man of great learning and wisdom.'

So you think a man with a Degree in History from Yale, an Honours Degree in Management from Harvard and who managed to be elected as the President of the US for two terms lacks learning and wisdom?

Yeahhh right.

And Kevvy has a degree in what from where? So you'd have no great opinion of his learning and wisdom would you?

Hasta la vista mi amigo.
