That may be so, but is not the problem with China.
China is not even communist, it is ruled by an oligarchy calling itself "communist" or "socialist", but there more or less the similarity ends.

Vietnam also is "communist", but does not pose that level of threats and oppression like China.

The problem with China is that it is HUGE.

Russia has that same problem.
The United States of America too.
And all those three still want to grow further in size.

The United Kingdom used to have that same problem,
China will eventually end up the same way as the UK, hopefully sooner than later.

Other countries have this same problem, just not to the same extent.
Australia (the state, not the continent) too is way too large for the good of its people.
