Yes, the "Palestinian" "leaders" could stop all their sufferings in a flash, any time, by surrendering.

In fact, if they were wiser or if they ever cared for their people, then they would not have embarked on the path of terror to begin with, in which case Netanyahu and the Nazis in his government would have never come to power and so Israel would have freely returned their territories many years ago, just as it returned them the Gaza strip in 2005.

Nevertheless, Israelis have to deal with the reality:
1) The "Palestinian" "leaders" are still there.
2) Netanyahu is still in power.
3) The Nazis Netanyahu included in his government will not allow him to remain in power unless he obeys them and instructs the IDF to commit atrocities against the Gazans.
4) These atrocities are presumably committed in the name of Israel and its people, rather than in the name of those Messianic Nazis.

Hence Israelis must cry out, not that the can achieve much by that as long as the Nazis in power control the police and Israelis are arrested and brutalised for speaking out against their war.

Yet it reflects on the so-called "Palestinians" and their violent society.
Indeed they have no valid cause and lots to answer for.

The article is about Israel and its behaviour, irrespective of the above.
Just because one side is wrong does not make the other side right.

Which texts and what do their authors base their conclusions on?

Judaism, Hinduism and Buddhism, agree about the existence of hell (7 levels of hell, actually in Hinduism, one below the other), but then only the exceptionally evil go there and then too only for a limited period (one year maximum in Judaism) - mind you, that period of sufferings FEELS like eternity, then they are reborn on earth. Similarly, the exceptionally righteous go to heaven, but that too for only a limited period, then they are reborn on earth: the majority go to neither hell nor heaven before being born again on earth.

Indeed, but destruction is only temporary, then one gets to climb out and try to gain eternal life again. Sooner or later, everyone will choose the narrow way and attain it.

Well firstly I do not believe in that silly notion of "Nation" - each person is being judged on their own merit or demerit alone.

I tend to think that Africans, Chinese, Russians, North Koreans and Ukrainians, suffer more, for example.
