I refuse to defend the indefensible : Comments

Israel's refusal to acknowledge Palestinian rights and humanity perpetuated a zero-sum narrative where Jewish safety is predicated on Palestinian dehumanization and death

Would anyone be interested in who or what an academic would or would not "defend" from his remote ivory tower?

Calling for anyone other than an Islamist to be removed from the face of the Earth is probably one of the most indefensible issues.

I commend this article.

"how the Jews in Israel, the children of those Jews who have been the victims of history, have now become the victimizer."

Nothing new here, it is already documented in the Bible:

"
The number of those killed in the citadel of Susa was reported to the king that same day.

The king said to Queen Esther, “The Jews have killed and destroyed five hundred men and the ten sons of Haman in the citadel of Susa. What have they done in the rest of the king’s provinces? Now what is your petition? It will be given you. What is your request? It will also be granted.”

“If it pleases the king,” Esther answered, “give the Jews in Susa permission to carry out this day’s edict tomorrow also, and let Haman’s ten sons be impaled on poles.”

So the king commanded that this be done. An edict was issued in Susa, and they impaled the ten sons of Haman.

The Jews in Susa came together on the fourteenth day of the month of Adar, and they put to death in Susa three hundred men, but they did not lay their hands on the plunder.

Meanwhile, the remainder of the Jews who were in the king’s provinces also assembled to protect themselves and get relief from their enemies. They killed seventy-five thousand of them but did not lay their hands on the plunder.

This happened on the thirteenth day of the month of Adar, and on the fourteenth they rested and made it a day of feasting and joy.

If you are going to trumpet your own horn, how about leaning something from the comments.

"adding to the more than 55,000"
I think I heard somewhere the number may be as high as 400k based on previous and current population numbers.

"1,200 innocent Israeli civilians"
That's not true, half were IDF and legitimate targets under occupation. The Palestinians have every right to fight for for self determination. As well, many Israelis were killed by the Israelis themselves under the Hannibal doctrine.

"damaging 84 percent of Gaza's healthcare facilities"
- They destroyed 36 hospitals, are you sure there are any left?

"Yet, I was condemned by many individuals for daring to label the Israeli war a genocide, calling my article a 'blood libel.'"
- Many Jews seem to live by hate, if you don't go along with that hate and the actions that come from it, then they hate even their own.

"They confessed that orders are frequently arbitrarily given to shoot first, and not even ask questions later."
- Still doing it today, and will do it again tomorrow, ordered to fire upon people who are starving.

"making statements advocating the INTENT TO DESTROY the Palestinians in Gaza"
- This is supposed to be supported, and anyone who opposes it must be silenced.
Flip the script and people will remind you of Hitler and the Holocaust like you actually worked as a volunteer at Auschwitz.

Sorry only made it to the third paragraph.

Dare question the senseless violence and tragic murder of women and kids and people will comment as though THEY THEMSELVES want to volunteer to help at a Palestinian death camp.
I see 3 out of 4 hands up saying 'pick me' on this very thread.
