Thanks to digital technology and social media, children no longer have the option of leaving their bullies at the school gate.

"No adult has the mental capacity and emotional intelligence to deal with this level of public attack"

Speak for yourself, Jean!

Plus, there are even children with that capacity and emotional maturity to keep out that rubbish (since they are happy, you do not hear from them).

Bullying is just one evil of digital technology, one among many,
so parents - if you love your children, keep these satanic gadgets away from them
(and from yourself too, if you love yourself).

I recall the school yard bully, one in particular, Louie. Louie was the typical SYB, loud mouthed, big, a bit over weight, a little on the dumb side. A new boy had started at the school, I think his name was David, a rather quiet kid, kept to himself. Louie took a set against the new kid, would push him around, call him names etc, David would do nothing. One day in the school paddock, David was sitting down eating his lunch, Louie thought it a good idea to have a go at the kid, David said nothing as usual, until Louie snatched the kids lunch and threw it away, just to show him whose boss. With that David jumped to his feet, and thumped the sh!t out of Louie, Louie didn't land a blow, left bloodied and beaten. A teacher seen what was going on, and sauntered over, Louie with his blooded noise protested loudly, "That kid belted me sir!" All the teacher said was, 'You better learn how to fight, go wash up, NOW!". I did hear years later, that Louie was doing time for armed robbery. Don't know what happened to David.
