America was not going to save us in the event of a war anyway.
Their weapons are overpriced and not up to task, and America wouldn't risk a nuclear skirmish with China for our sake.
China now has more and better everything.

You're only just now figuring out what I've been saying for years.
- And I'm not sure that the US can actually decouple from China anyway.
Americans would suffer immensely and oppose a conflict before a shot has even been fired.

Why I never sympathised with America to begin with,
but now we also have a proof.

This does not diminish the danger of China.
This does not diminish the horrible pain which will likely be inflicted on the good people of Taiwan as they are being invaded, now that America was caught bluffing.

And as the Americans would not use their nukes to save us, I always stated that Australia must have its own. Actually I also stated that a few nuclear weapons may not be enough, especially without sufficient means to deliver them and that therefore Australia should obtain biological weapons as well. I hope it covertly does.

I also warned that Israel too should disassociate itself with America - and Israel already has its own nukes and who knows what else. Unfortunately you seem to hate Israel that much because of its association with America - would your attitude towards Israel improve had Israel been clearly separating itself from America?
